I really liked the first Bad Company.





Listening in on Electronic Arts' earnings conference call today, we heard that a sequel to last year's Battlefield: Bad Company is in the works. Helmed once again by developer DICE in Stockholm, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is due out in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2010. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is returning to consoles, so we're guessing that means it will be on Xbox 360 and PS3.

fourth quarter 2010??? why did they even announce this game if its still 20 months away from release?? i loved the first battlefield but dont get me all excited about something that is nearly 2 years away.

Yeah, IMO it's better than COD. I like the pace better, as well the ability to change half the terrain by destroying it.

well just got done playing through 4 hours of this game.

i have to say AWESOME!

the maps are ENORMOUS. the action is non-stop and you see some pretty kick-ass things happen.

tonight i've witnessed.

1.a guy parachuting next to me get sniped out of the air.

2.somebody on the opposing team jumped out of his chopper while in flight, sending it down to kill 2 of us and he parachuted safely to the ground. (awesome)

3.i was driving a 4 wheeler though some bushes and got shot (wounded) out of nowhere, so in a panic i start driving in S turns hoping to get away, i end up running the guy over with my 4 wheeler for a kill.

4.and one of the cooler things is when i was sitting by a fence on the other side from the enemey base. my teamate gets shot by a tank shell about 50 yards back and his body flew into the fence landed right in front of me.

so far im loving the game and you progress with weapons fairly quickly.

lvl 4 after one night
stupid internet cut out a while ago (only reason i quit)

This is one reason why I like console over PC at least, sports, racing and just any game in general where you control a vehicle seems more natural with a controller IMO. After playing BF2 in high school on PC, and trying out the Bad Company 1 demo (which was fun) I'm ready for something new. Plus I lost my MW2 disc. Still feel that COD series has the most polished pure shooter games though.

play rush, i can get about 2000 pts. a game on that gametype and lvl'n up goes much quicker.
and be sure to use each of the classes. playing as a Recon, will only lvl up the recon perks and weapons. so be diverse in your play and you should start moving up quckly.

i play on 360.

and your right, its definately not taking the place of COD, but its a nice refreshing break from it. and i dont compare the games in most cases.. they are completely different when it comes to the tactics.

oh yea, and THE MAPS ARE FUGGIN HUUUUGE

^^ haha so true... i seen a guy get closelined off a 4 wheeler last night by a sniper bullet.

the helicopter/tank/machine gun hummer add so much to this game.

its like COD but instead of care packages with heli's.. each team has the opportunity to hop in one at any time

now im anxious to go home and play!!!

its for teh noobs, gives them a chance to kill multiple people without using any additional skill.

in bad company 2, you can hitch a ride with a heli on your team. jump out, parachute down to any location and jump right in the fight. alot of epic shit is goin on at once. its been a while since i've been excited about the multiplayer on a game.

I picked it up today since I was sick from work I love the campaign right now and tried multiplayer for a little bit, but honestly didn't like it. Sure it is fun to ride in a tank and shoot people, but I like more strategy to the multiplayer. Will have to check out the other types of games in the multiplayer.
