...sorry, dumb question (I suck at gaming), but there's a night/dawn mission where you're suppose to destroy two bunkers with C4... the "yellow" indicators show that the C4 is inside the bunkers, how are you suppose to get inside to get the C4?

You have to put C4 on the bunker. Go to the spot and hold "Y". You have 10sec to run.

Yeah what DRUNKENBUDA said. When you stand facing the bunker with the big gun ontop, the C4 seems as if its inside. But when you get close to it, the C4 starts to show up (the outline of it) so all you have to do is get close to the wall and hold Y. All it was showing you is where it will be places. You will then see your guy put his gun away, take the C4 he is carrying and arm it. Then RUN hide somewhere.
I am at the level where you have to destroy 2 scramblers that are messing up the signal to the cross com and all visuals. It looks all messed up like you TV cables are not connected right and you are losing signal. Its best to be switching to heat/night vision. if you cant find the sramblers, let me know. I tell you where they are. But first you have to try for yourself. lol.

Its like real war man. lol.. I have had situations were i order my men to go stand somewhere to see if they start getting shot at, then quickly move them to somewhat same location but make sure you do it behind wall or something. They will take cover and start shooting around corner. You need to change they mood (commands also). You know the button over the left trigger (forget watts called left bumper?), make them ready for asault or to be on the look out. You are about 1 or 2 missions behind me. Wait till you get the stage i am in. The scramblers will F up your visiion. Kinda hurts the eyes trying to see the enemy. Thats why i told you its best if you use NIGHT/HEAT vision at times.

GunnMetal I'm at the scramblers and searched for them a lot. Posted on teambox to ask where it is and was told that it's next to the tank. I appproached this level from all directions and have found about 10 enemies. How the heck do you destroy that scrambler? I tried shooting it but could not. The only thing I noticed is if you place C4 on the tank then it destroys the scambler along with it.

Great game, especially the multiplayer (co-op & campaign = 
). Reminds me a lot of SOCOM on steroids.
Teammate AI sucks on singleplayer though.

lol.. I was the same..ok, you know when you get to the baracade (sp), as soon as you go over it you see a blown up helicopter, if you make an immediate right, there should be a tank. To the right of of the tank there is a small SATELITE, **destroy it** (its the scrambler). Thats why when you blow up the tank, the explosion destroys it. But for the other tank, since now you know its next to it, zoom in and destroy it.

...why is it... when the enemies attack... their guns are automatic, but then you go pick them up (after you kill them) the same guns are only in semi-automatic???

It depends. You know most of these enemies have that K30 gun right? Well I think that gun you can adjust to either shoot 1 bullet or a spree of 5 or 6 bullets. When I choose the spree of 5 and pull the triger really fast, it seems as fully auto. Maybe this is what you are seing. :duno: hope it helps.
Well i finally got past that, ran away from the helicopter that was shooting at me and got in my tanker. Then you start a new mission were you have to rescue 3 tank trainee operators, take them to tanks, guide tanks to get LOADED with amo. And thats where i left off.

So, I finally started playing. I don't know if I can say incredible.
Fucking hard, yes. I guess I'm too used to run in and blow shit up. This game is way tactical. And very unforgiving.
Its going to take some getting used to. Because right now, I suck rank ass at this.

Is this game primarily multi=player? Im getting oblivion soon and if this game is primarily better online im gonna wait till the summer to get it. Or is the single player amazing too?

Right now I like Single player a bit more. WHY? Well because they made close to 1000 online variants but NO DAMN MATCHMAKING. You can not get your 1-8 players and be matched with other 1-8 payers. Great Custom matches, and got lobbies to join other games. But if you with friends, you all need to agree on what server name try to join it.
Me perosnally, the reason I love halo is becuase, of this. I liek playing different starngers every single time. Different changelling missions. At a certain point, in GRAW, with your same group of peopple, you already start gettin used to what each player does waht. Like who snipes, who gets this weapon, and so on, so you start looking around for these things. Matchmaking would make more of a thrill and suspense. CANT WAIT FOR AN UPDATE in the market place.

This is a slow moving game, and its very difficult.
Its also difficult to get used. I die like 45 times in a mission.
I wish the controller speed for aiming was faster.

you probably die becuase you are not taking cover. Imagine youself being in real war, imagine you are the Ghost leader. I would hide in same spot until I view WHOLE area around me. I know what it is, you are used to run and gun games maybe? :duno:
I personally think its really realistic, notice when you are zoomed in with the sniper, you move SUPER SLOM MOTION. And I think its correct, becuase if you move fast, since its zoomed in about 15x times, 1 inch would be about 100 feet (not accurate #'s)
Hey Sarlacc, have you gotten used to your Drone? I find it to help alot. Everytime I am in corner or spot where I have cleared the enemies, I put the Drone on detection mode and move it over where I am and maybe some what where I plan to go. Just to get a heads up where the enemies are and the I know where to hide.

It is more of a tactical game instead of a run & gun game like Halo. If you liked SOCOM you will like GWAR. But what really makes the game worthwhile is online (you might like the campaign or co-op modes).

I never played socom...and I am trying to take cover...but the fucking targets are so far away.
Its taking getting used to...I still wish I could aim faster. I do like it. And once I get totally used to it..I might bu a gold subscription.

I havent even figured out how to use the drone yet.
figuring out how to move my troops, and then switch to command vehciles took forever...then to realize its all line of sight when you can make a apache fire, etc.
Its a lot to take in and process....the training level was not nearly long or in-depth enough.

by the way, I found a flaw in the game... in one of the levels, one of you guys moves really slow, even though his legs are moving like he's running, but he moves so slow that he can't catch up... I just left him behind...

well.. it looks like it might not have aim sensitivity adjustment... now that is f'in LAME. but... I could see how they might have wanted it in the game, ppl who adjust it might have an unfair advantage. And if the playing field isn't level, you know you'll have the

This game can be fucking infuriating. I spent i dont how many hours trying to beat the level where you have to protect VIP2 (mexican president) behind a wall of rubble while you wait for air support.
The AI blows ass...VIP2 either walks right front of your gun, or goes and crouches right in the fucking open air. And my own men got in way. And then, to have to listen to fucking sitrep over and over and over again....fuck you!!!!
I am now on the level where I have to go blow up howitzer bunkers, and I'm where I have the tank and the chopper. Two my fucking fucking went into a shed...and just kept walking into the wall. They wouldnt follow orders. they stop if I shot them and healed them...I just ended up grenading them in there...fucking glitch....but of course I died anyway so now I am back to starting that part over.
This game can be really fun...or REALLY fucking annoying.

...yeah, in most levels, I just put my guys off to some corner -safe so I wouldn't have go aid them because they were too stupid to stood right out in the open... the only time I have them tag along is when one of them has the rocket launcher and I need shit blown up...
...as for the VIP's go... yeah, they're lame too... they follow you around and don't take cover... kinda unrealistic...
...but with that said... I still loved this game (yes, I finished it, last night)

I finished this bad boy last night. Took a little over 11 hours. Great game. Time to try to complete it on the hard level.
I thought the last mission was easier than a lot of the other ones.

I beat it also about a week ago, took me close to 15 hours. lol.. Man I kept on getting it when you go into the (aahh wats it called, castle, fortress, big building where you go into, that is 3 floors, and its square in the middle, all you have to hide is columns(sp)).
