So on my way to work in my "New to me" Volvo S60 R 6sp stock i pull up behind a black 01-02 CLS with exahaust, custom wheels, I think thery were black also. It was lowered and debadged except for a newer Type S logo from I think the later TLS's. Nice car anyways.

I went to the far left lane around a truck and they went to the far right about to merge left lane around the truck on Kent DeMoines rd.

I just got this car last week and love it. I do like it better than the CLS but it's going to cost a lot more to keep running properly. Not so much the power train as much as the suspension and electronics. Certainly not as reliable as the CLS. But it is faster.

Yes, with out a doubt its faster than my slightly modded CLS. And quicker than the one today.

It has a 2.5 litre 5 cyl turbo. 300HP. AWD. At least I thinks its 2.5.

ah i see. yeah i live up north in lynnwood but im down in that area for work sometimes. wasnt mine but i know there was a member on here that sold his car to someone. kinda sounds like the car you were describing minus the new tl badge

Had another cshot at this guy. we went at it up the same hill again. This time he started out a few cars ahead. took me all of 2nd and all the way to the end of third before I got back up to him. I thought for a sec he let off then I rememered how slow the begining of 4th in the CLS is. Takes for ever to get from 115 to 120 or so in the CLS. I eneded up at about 128 and about 8 cars ahead. I'm wondering if he added some mods. Cause his car seemed to be faster this time. Sounds very good too.

At about 105 I had a few papers fly up from the back seat and scare the living shit out of me.

I did speak to the guy a few months back and asked if he was a member here and I don't think he had any clue what I was talking about. (not sure if I already said that) He always has the same guy in the car with him and they seem to always be cool. I've seen the car many times over the months.

So im thinking about getting a Subaru Forester XT and moding it. But thats another story.
