i rcaed my friends wrx a wile ago when we were both stcok now i have headers and thermobloc, and he has 3' down pipe and full exhaust(no cats), we want to run it again from a roll(for obvious reason), i want to kno wut would be the best speed for me to roll with him, we don't want it to be to high of a mph but i'd jus like a few suggestions
p.s has anyone had a similer race, if so wat was result

i know for sure from a dig you wouldn't have a chance. I haven't been in a TL before but a wrx with a full exhaust will be pretty quick espeically if he turned the boost up.

get the speed as high as possible because those things die after forth gear...yes worse than we do... if you cant get it too high ill say do a roll from 50mph... i think thats the best roll for our cars....

stock vs stock two dig runs w/o him revin it at the line, he beet me by 3 1/2 cars, with his exhaust and me stock from a forty roll he got me by seven cars, so i hope my headers and thermo will help lessen that a bit

personally i think it would be extremely odd to see a tl race a wrx. total luxury 4dr vs total sport 4dr. all in all i say fuck the subaru and just go home proud knowing you have a better whip

Is something wrong with your TL-S? 7 cars from a roll? The TL should put up a much better fight than that on a stock 227hp WRX.

I've ran a modded WRX from the dig before. I forget what the mods were (full exhaust, air filter, downpipe, and something else), but anyways, I beat him coming into the end of 2nd gear. Had him by a lil more than a car in 3rd and we shut it down afterwards. I ran him like 5 times with the same results. I say, run him from the dig anyways. It's your friend, nothing to be ashamed of.....

btw I ran him on race gas, a 125 shot of nitrous, plus all my other mods and my Azenis....

uh..you lost worse from a roll than you did from a dig? something's not right here..if anything you should do better from a roll..not worse

Exactly right. Are you racing in full auto mode? From 40mph you should be in 2nd gear and right around VTEC. You shouldn't lose so bad from a roll.

well to be completely honest he got the jump and i cut the seven down to like 5 in third gear but he just flat out took me, and trust me i'll run him from a dig too and he if he would have reved his car up the first time we raced from a dig he would have murdered me, and back then he couldn't drive stick to save his life, now he is a sick driver and i think that helped him too the 2nd tym around, this weekend i should run him and i'll post a video
