Greetings, comrades. Has anyone on the forum ever attempted to run a J32A2 with a series 1 AEM EMS? Specifically a 1020 (I think that's what it's called). There's one for sale relatively cheap in my region, feeling slightly tempted to buy it and adapt it to my car. Assuming I can somehow wire it to work with my car's electronics/automatic transmission, can I actually use it? Are there any issues associated with such an install that could render my car unsuitable for daily use?

It looks like the only V6 that it was meant to run with was the J30A1 from the 1G 97-99 Acura CL, otherwise

Hi, zeta! The car has been treating me well, most of my issues are solvable with help from our local Honda Inspire/Saber community. However, tuning the J32A2 is not something that comes up frequently, and not something many people have experience with: even the guys who build their motors and do extensive head work, porting and all that other stuff - even they really don't know a lot about tuning these engines, so my last resort is Acurazine. Judging by your list, the series 1 is definitely not a plug and play unit for my car, but I've heard from a few people locally that as a standalone computer it's equivalent to Haltech Elites and Motecs (while being somewhat cheaper and simpler), so that gives me a bit of hope. As in if you do the wiring and other work associated with adapting the ECU correctly - it might actually run my motor. The way things are going so far - it looks like I'm gonna have to figure it all out for myself.
