Yeah Mazda 3's are single cam territory. I used to beat em in my F23. Throw the word "speed" in between "Mazda" and "3" and both my F and H are in over their heads though.

x2. I raced a MS3 in my 94 Prelude VTEC. We went 60mph->120mph and he put about 2~3 car lenghts on me, but near 130 I started to reel him back in (slowly) but then he let off.

Id like to see how I stack up to one of those in the CL-S.

Yesturday on my way to work some guy in a Jaguar S-type, not sure what model but it had red badges, was trying to race me on the highway. I gave in and gave him the jump. I dropped it down to fourth and caught up to him really quick, kept pulling away, then realized I was doing 120 in a 60 and decided to slow down a bit.

I dont know why Ive been racing so much, but my kill list so far:

-98ish Maxima (dont know what the hell he was thinking)
-7th gen Accord V6, from a dig and a roll
-5th gen Prelude VTEC 5MT
-Late model Jag S-type with red badges
-Toyota Yaris, I really was just driving fast, he was trying to keep up
-Late model Mustang V6 from a dig and a roll, I would like to run a GT

Ive been trying to get my brother to race me in his 08 Accord 6MT, but he doesnt want to run me fairly. Everytime we line up, he goes on 2.

So far I've only "killed" one Civic. It was an old EG hatch covered in enough shades of primer and bondo to be the lead float in a gay pride parade. I rolled up on him, dropped into 3rd, and his GF actually laughed at me (funny considering what car she was in) I pulled on him easily, until I let off around 90ish because I was catrching up to a couple of semi's. Out of nowhere, I hear a waabaahhhh waaabahhhaa and his tud does a ricer flyby after I let off. I smelled burningnoil for the next mile down the road.

so i just came in here to post about a mazda 3 that tried to give me a go on the highway today.. funny theres been a whole discussion about em. I dropped down to third and was 3 lengths ahead by the time I hit 75 lol


and yeah, I got fucking smoked by a mazdaspeed 3. he CHIRPED his tires on the downshift at 45 and was 5-6 lengths ahead of me at 65... my cousin has one. theyre real nice cars.

Last night I was driving down Broad St and a kid in an Integra pulled up next to me. I was doing 40, and it was a 45 zone. He sat at my back bumper for about 3 miles then finally pulled up next to me. He downshifted and I didnt do anything. We got to a light and I wasnt going to do anything unless he did.

Light turned green and he gunned it. I hear him so I go. We both hit second at the same time, except I was spinning still. As soon as I got traction I was gone. I wasnt even bringing it up to redline. I was shifting around 5k

He then had his friend try to race me. That was hilarious, because his friend was in a Toyota 4Runner. WTF? I let him get the light and go about 3 car lengths up, then I launch and by the time I hit 3rd (still granny shifting) I was past him. Whats sad is the truck was actually faster then the Integra

The Integra definately had a VTEC motor in it, whether it was a GSR or LS-VTEC, I dont know. It was definately a B though.

i'd bet it was an ls if the 4runner was faster than it. i've never seen a b18c that was that damn slow lol.

Yeah, on good days I can get to about 100 in 3rd. Other days it'll just stay in 4th no matter what.

When you race from a roll which i normally do, its all about trap speed, im trapping around 101 so that puts me around 13.8 with a good 60' which as we know is hard to acheive in our cars.

Now most of my kills have been cars, that on paper trap around what i do... ofcourse being a good driver helps too.

Anyone in the Dallas fort worth area up for some meets, or a little run here and there get at me.

Ive had a 335I barely creep away from me all the way to 120... and as far as the colbalt...the new boosted ones a Fast they trap at like 102-103 .... i tied the new colbalt and had a 335i barely walk from me as well so i can vouche these cars can hold their own

They may trap 102-103, but they are still a 14second car. The 335i is not.

Ive got similar mods (plus alittle more) and this car will not beat a 335i.

Sorry, I misread what you had said. You said you were barely edged out by one.

Ive raced a 135i from a roll, and no, my car did not surprise me. Nor was I dissapointed, I knew what I was getting myself into.

ha well yea the 135i's are a little faster, i raced a 335XI on the highway from a 75-80 punch and he pulled about a car .
the 135is are trapping at like 106 and are in the low 13 range. where as the 335is are trapping at 103-104 and pulling around 13.6-13.7's stock autos

My brother (08 Accord 6MT) and I raced an Audi A6 on the highway two nights ago. That was fun All from a 70 roll to about 120 or so. The Audi stood no chance.

. . . there's always something going on. Matter of fact, we just went to the regular Wednesday night meets and ended up with a little late night action.

By the way, I got to add some guy in a 6.0 GTO to my kill list. Sorry, no video for proof, but I had witnesses. I pulled him a bit from 40ish through 2nd getting about 3/4 car length on him, and then in 3rd he started creeping back and got to within 1/2 car length of me before letting off around 95-100, he would have probably caught me around 110 or so.

I have to say I was surprised, he did have a passenger, but one person in a V8 doesn't suffer as much as a V6. I'm betting he'd take me from a standing start, so probably take me about a car length or less. Anyway, this sort of backs up the surpising win I had over a 550i some months ago.

MS3 is damn fast stock it does 13.6-13.8 1/4mile if u are boosted then u got a chance but this car have same issue that we have - traction

The 01 S4 is only 250 hp. And is a little heavier than a CLS6. I think it could be done with a stock CLS6. If it was chipped, HP would be around 310-315 or so. With a shit load more TQ. Thats a whole nother ball game.
