Past sat. morning, a guy across the street from where I live heard me pull of kinda hard, and the CAI suck some air. So when I came back he was like 'wanna run' My face light up. Me thinking, "this new tl is a heavy luxury car, that at best is tiptronic''. We went to the famous 'Francis Lewis Blvd', on the way there we were testing the waters. It was crazy, engines sounded the same, cars didn't pull on each other or nothing. We get to the light, it turns green, I'm gone, perfect take off, then perfect shift 1,2,3... I MISSED FOURTH (DDAANNMM!!!) I was ahead by 1/2 a car lenghth, then he got me after missing. I felt like a rookie!! Going back home I took him at the light,close all the way though. But it still felt bad, i missed a gear. When we got home, he knew I would have had him the first one also, cause we weren't really pulling on each other, i just had a better jump. Looking inside, I noticed it was also a 6 speed. I was like WOW! I didn't know it came stick. He said, it wont allow him to power shift in the TL, its just real smooth he said. But it was still fun, didn't know that the new TL was that real, should study the enemy a lil' more next time.

I don't know, is family. Like fight my big brother, it all love at the end of the day. If he is a member, I think his name would be like 'Navin', he had a older TL also, had headers and a V-Tech control, said he got some nice gains with just that.

Dont think they can...I heard something like the exhaust manifold is "part" of the block. Is that right? Like that the manifold can't be removed? Unless maybe some serious custom work was done.

I don't belive it's that crazy of custom work. They would basically have to cut and re-weld because the headers portion are no longer bolt on.

Naw, he had headers on an older TL 3.2 he had before, the new TL he had was stock, my CL just has a CAI, no headers.

My 2004 TL has CAI, comptech exhaust... it's a 6MT.. I think I could edge out on you

I raced a TL A-spec from 70 to 110 3 times and it was dead even every time.

I dont think you can edge any CL-S with headers...

i could only talk about auto for auto my 03 cl with aem intake and my friends 04 tl with intake i can beat him by a good car and a 1/2 to 2 cars every time , more like 2 cars

CL FWD SPEED

I've raced my friends 6spd TL w/iceboxon the freeway and gotten 2 and a half cars length on 135mph....wanted to test out my mods h/i/b-pipe/e, crank pulley , Thermoblock spacers before my S/C was on.....then we switched drivers = the same results

yeah, I've seen clips of your CL-S6 from another thread you gave me. My TL is still a mid to low 14 sec car, not too fast at all.

no, currently there is no headers available for the new 3G-TL and I don't think anyone is going to come out with one neither. A guy live right down the street from me has a 2002 TL with headers and it actually sounds pretty nice...
