What mods and set up did you have when you ran this, and are you a 6MT or auto?

High Flow Magnaflow Catalytic Converter
Custom Exhaust 2.5' Piping with SS409 Mufflers
P2R 4" Cold Air Intake
P2R TB Spacer
P2R TB Thermal Gaskets
Unorthodox Racing Ultra SS Underdrive Pulley's
Progress Rear Sway Bar

That's the run down for my mods. I had a about a sec of wheel spin on the launch's. The wheels just kept hopping. on my 3rd run I actually broke the wheels free in 2nd.
I need to get use to launching better. your right if I can just get that 60' down, I'll have some real nice runs.

yea 16's would be ideal when it comes to the track, but I'm not all that interested in buying rims just for track. Better tires is something I wouldn't mind buying. But the tires I current have will be on there till next summer. Next summer I'm going to replace them.

You dont need to buy new rims, there are plenty of stock wheels that weigh less than ours that you can get and just get DRs for. Thats what I plan to do.

I'm glad that bar is still there . . . I'm hoping to get real close to that the next time down at the track. Right now I'm sitting at 14.46, but have added the headers, CAT, Innovative mounts and hopefully BBTBs, so it aught to be interesting to see what that'll do for me.

1 tenth in the 60 is worth 2 tenths at the 1/4. He could be hitting the 13.8 mark with a 2.0 60ft time.
I want to get him kicked off the track for going too fast with out a helmet No more seat time for me this summer because of a broken leg I have to live vicariously through him.
I'm still stuck at a 14.717 at 97 mph, i need pulleys so I can get to 4th quicker and make better use of it in the last stretch.

My protege Nightpoison will be able to break that record once I teach him how to launch. He's already running a 14.4 with a 2.363 60ft time with bolt ons, no NOS or FI (he'd never been to the track before that night and the conditions pretty much sucked after about 3 weeks of rain, I was very impressed with what he accomplished) . I just need to talk him into getting some better tires and rims for the track, basically I talked him into buying the car and started dropping hints on what mods to get. I like to use his car as a prototype test bed for mine and so far , he's been a willing participant

I was happy with my run, for the first time ever at the track. Like Black Label said, wasn't the best conditions, but I posted a respectable time. I also made the mistake of running with a full tank of gas. I could have gotten down the track a little faster. What do you think that would have cut off, keeping the tank with less than a 1/4 full?

Petrol is roughly 6lbs per gallon, we have a 17 gallon tank. A full tank would be about 102lbs, having only 4 gallons remaining would drop you 78lbs (roughly).
I'd say the trick is to pull into the drag strip at the exact time your gas light comes on.

This is pretty much why F1 teams measure fuel in terms of weight instead of gallons or liters. If you watch a F1 driving on a full tank vs the same car running on a half tank, it makes a difference in terms of lap times.

This past weekend at Urbanracer's Fall National @ E-town I got my best ET ever and got 1st place in Bracket B2. This is only the 3rd time I take it to the track and I've already won 2 bracket events. I usually race my RSX-s at these events but I'm in the process of upgrading my turbo kit so I race my daily driver and it's working well.

On the 14.7@95 the 60' was 2.266 but on the same day I cut a 2.215 but since I was racing on a bracket class I let off at the end cause I was so far ahead of the other guy and ran a 15.1@93.
Next time I'm trying my 16inch drag radials from the rsx or just the 17's that are 12.5lbs with toyo t1s tires. Much lighter than our stock 17's. I think a 14.5 is possible.

Just got back from Infineon Raceway (sonoma CA) wedensday night drags. My 1st run at the track scored me a 15.3 at 94mph. I was kinda upset so I got back in line. My final two runs for the night, yielded a 14.93 and a 14.96 both at 95mph. Racing at the track is a lot more difficult than racing on the street. I think if I had some 17in rims with some stickier rubber my times could have been better. It sucks getting beat by some kid in a Pontiac GTP (Supercharged) but it was a learning experience.
