I hate street racers!
I have been known to have a little fun every now and again. I have bought my car to the limiter many times but this fucking 2006-7 Maxima tried to run me off the road. Old Fort Irwin rd is one of the dangerous stretches of road in California riddled with crosses on the side. I know one kid that died on a motorcycle and two others that have had some really bad accidents. Shit 5 deaths in one month last year, and the road is only 30 miles. Well I still like to have fun, I was going through the turns, at about 80 enjoying my drive at night mind you. I can see lights behind me catching up, I'm pushing up the hill, flooring it mind you because a minute later, this guy is on my ass. I drive but I'm not crazy, this guy hops over in the on coming traffic lane while we are both going around a curve. Hops over in front of me hits the gravel that scares the shit out of me. So now my high beams are on, rocks are flying everywhere, smacking the shit out of my car. I'm very thankful no cars were coming, I thought the move was nice but not when my life is on the line. The bad thing about it you hop on Ft irwin rd and it has just been paved, so it has periods of two lane road ideal for a nice race from 70 or something. The dick has a nerve to slow down when we get there, I was so annoyed, I hit the brakes and let him go. If I'm driving crazy I tend to do it away from others, this guy not only put his life on the line, but my life and possibly another cars as well. What made it worse was the move had no skill he was way off the rode, I was slamming on my brakes just in case the gravel made him lose control.
I just had to rant

Sorry to hear about that...glad things turned out the way they did though. At least no damage or bodily harm was done. I'm sure he'll end up hurting himself or someone else in the near future if he continues driving like that though

Trust me after a move like that, I more than let him go on his merry way. At the speed he was going, lack of shoulder, there was hardly any room for error. I wanted to follow him but this all happend at 3 am New Years, I let shit go....Ft Irwin is a small place.....

Yeah, sometimes it's just better to let it go and just pray the guy doens't kill some innocent driver. I've seen quite a bit of terrible driving since I grew up on the E. Coast and traveled I-95 most of my driving life. It was insane some of the shit I saw.

maxima? i would drop in into 3rd hop infront of him and put my hazards on and keep getting further and further until all i see is a spec of light in my rear view, then i would slow down to the speed limit and let him pass so he can feel like the dick that he is
