6 and 7 speed auto tranny

What do you guys think about the new 6 speed auto coming out? Supposed to be able to handle 315 HP.. maybe they will make a stronger version.

Also heard Mercedes is working on a 7 speed auto supposed to come out in 2k7

i know the new BMW M5 will have a 7 speed transmission.
