1/4 mi. times. 14.67 @ 97.48 mph

the run on the left is my first time down the 1320. mid-day temp 87 degrees. all runs done on my snow tires.
fastest time was done in ss. last run was gateshifted. with new tires a good launch and gateshifting 14.50's will be mine.

can my 0-60 be estimated w/ this info?

ummmm.. We now have a forum for this!!!

Seriously.. Nice times

Your 0-60 times can be estimated... I could do it at work for you. My best GUESS is right around ~6.0-6.25 , what were your 60 ft times???

by the way your Trap speed is indicative of HP ur CLS is making.

I think with proper setup, luanch, and weather you should hit 14.2 easy...

Get sticky tires.. clean up your CLS from dead weight... run on 1-3 galons and you would hit 14.2s at 100MPH!

Nashau, i noticed my trap speeds are conciderably higher than yours. any clues why? and what kind of times could i expect if i can get my 60' times down to where yours are?

Well the most useful info for figuring 0-60 is the 1/8 mph and ET. I say 9.5@75 estimates at six flat, a shade under if I had to guess since his 60' was a bit high.

my best 60' is 2.245 so your 2.3 is not that far, so I guess it should be 14.5s at 97. a mere .1 sec improvement.

Now, if you remove the spare tire and jack lower tire pressure to 28 lb and run in better weather.. you would drop .2 so, that is your 14.2s

Oh, by the way, best times are run-after-run, and back to back runs...
I droped form 14.9s down to 14.6s in few back to back runs...

What do you attribute this to? Do you think the car is performing better or that you are more "in the groove" driving-wise?

the first run of the day i had a 14.68. this was at 9:38 and it was prolly only 65-70 degrees. 11:48 i got a 14.81 @ 94.96, it was prolly 75+ by then so i thought my times would continue to get slower. but at 1:25 i ran that 14.67 and it was over 80 degrees.
so

jack and spare were out, tire pressure was 34lbs

Nashau, do you have much wheelspin off the line? i had very little and i think that actually slowed my 60' times.

i want that 13.99, N/A. the wheels are turning.

What is the elevation of the track????? That's pretty impressive. 14.67 on an 87 degree day. I couldn't break into the 14's with the same setup.

I think both... first to get lower ET, you need good 60' feet, you would immediatly discover that heavy Brake Torque would spin Niitos very bad and you would get the wheel hop thing..

So, going easy on the throtle or little break torque could get you the best times.
Second, I gate shifted and with more runs you would perfect it!

Finally, I still believe that with couple WOT runs the ECU would be more agressive in good cold weather.

And let me add this: I do not have a doubt that a CLS with Headers and CAI, slicks and 3500 rpms TQ would break in 13s easy...

If I break torque heavy (> 2000 rpms) I would spin very bad. However, I do not think that could be a disadvantage.. if it is moderate spin. I found out that 2.25 is the best I could get out of Break Torquing... If you tires hook up that is great....

Nittos 555 are not drag radials nor slicks... I think if someone has a better TQ, he could invest in 2 16" drag slicks and get great results.

Agreed. ~97 mph which is what I see the header/CAI CL-Ss run is enough power to get there. Need a 2.0 or better 60' though I would think.
