01 Cls Vs. 02 Ford Lightning
 

well just got home from racing my coworkers lightning, my expectations were not too high just maybe hang for a while, but before i go on, it was 230 AM on the expressway (palmetto south between n.w.36th st and flagler for all you south floridians), no cars within sight, and radar detector at full blast, with that out of the way here goes...

We went from a 30 roll and at first he put about 2 cars on me almost from the get go, but i stayed with it, at i started pulling him at around 80-85 neck and neck 100, by 135 i cut off and had put about 1-2 cars on him, he couldnt beleive it, he says his car felt weird near the end (right...) gave me props on my car and said what a beast (weird coming from the lightning owner) :toocool: , and said for us to go at it again when he gets his pullies on, i wont even bother than though.
I was really impressed with my car, pretty sure that guy wasnt a good driver though he woulda smoked me, i knew our cl's were a good top end car but damn. Go cl :thumbsup:
FYI i have CAI and HEADERS, but big ol deep dish 19's , he was stock

Nice American muscle kill!!! Drag may have hurt that Lightning on top end!! May be the reason his truck "felt wierd near the end".......

only reason you won was due to the fact that he either

1. reached the top gear max speed
2. hit fuel cut off
