Wheel repair? Wheels America - Elk Grove Village
Hey guys,
Had a small bit of curb rash on one of my brand new Volk wheels. Thanks to Synth and a bit of searching on the Z/G boards, I took my car to Wheels America for repair.
Wheel was done in 24hrs and looks perfect! Detached the 2pc wheel, sanded down the lip and re-polished. Can't even tell there was curb rash.
Ask for Paul or Chris and they will take care of you.

I am not sure if they are still offering the special, but for the Z/G guys it was $80/wheel for repair. I think it's over $120 regular cost. Maybe call Paul and tell him you heard about the special and see if he will offer.

I called wheels America a couple days ago. They said that they don't offer that deal anymore and I would have to pay regular price. $149 (that's with unmounting and balancing). Idk about you guys but I'm not trying to spend $600 to refinish my whole set. Is there another place I could go to, that'll be significantly cheaper??

thats about the going rate, there is wheel tech on 41 just north of half day road. Like i said though thats about the going rate. Thkink of it like this though. 600 to refinish your wheels or $2000 to buy new ones.
