Congrats on the car, as far as wheels, being that its winter you'll have tough time finding a good deal. I say keep a look out around spring/early summer time as that is when most people switch to after market wheels and put their OEM ones for sale.

Thanks! That's the plan :)

Just thought I'd share. Last weekend, I went up to Brooklyn, NY to ONEighty Custom to have my headlights done with a matte black housing and amber delete. The chrome grille was painted just like the OEM Infiniti Midnight Grille with the center painted gloss black, and the rear chrome strip on the trunk was paintmatched Blue Slate.

Here's one picture for now.

Next on my list is the OEM Sport Bumper underbody spoiler otherwise known as the "Chin"

Reference below.

Whoops, wrong photo.

Very nice! Where's the picture of the trunk!?

EuRTSX 03-07-2012 07:14 PM

I don't have any images of the trunk when its clean, but here it is while at ONEighty.

Flipster23 03-07-2012 09:39 PM

Very clean!

JS + XES 03-07-2012 09:46 PM

Oh yeah! Forgot about those on the trunk.

Dude, it looks much better with it color matched. I hated that chrome crap on it.

S14 n Tsx 03-07-2012 11:24 PM

Zach, time to debage. get rid of 'infiniti' and the emblem.

Sly Raskal 03-07-2012 11:29 PM

at a minimum I would get rid of the G37 badge.

S14 n Tsx 03-07-2012 11:30 PM

^^

JS + XES 03-07-2012 11:37 PM

I asked him about it already and he doesn't want to debadge it at all. :whyme:

Well, it is his car. I mean look at how hard we've been trying to convince you to lower yours and it hasn't happened. :tomato:

JS + XES 03-07-2012 11:48 PM

Oh yeah :tomato:

S14 n Tsx 03-08-2012 12:13 AM

 hahahah.

:spit:

I don't like debadging cars. My mentality is its like buying a really expensive shirt, then ripping the tag off of it.

It looks cleaner, but I just dont like it.

Costco 03-08-2012 05:43 AM

me gusta on the headlights.

not sure if want on the "chin"

but it's your car, I have faith in your good taste!

EuRTSX 03-08-2012 06:56 AM

I said the same thing when I first saw it, but after a while it grew on me.

That and it being the only good lip for my car (probably the only one), I'm stuck with little choices.

Trust me it'll look much better, I think it's that angle.

UNCTYPE-S 03-08-2012 08:34 AM

Looks good man.

180 Customs does nice work. A bit of issues with people a couple years back but think their customer service has stepped up since then. Friggin expensive on some of their designs.

EuRTSX 03-08-2012 04:07 PM

Mmm..I wouldn't know, but they're awesome guys. :)

As far as pricing goes, yeah they're a bit pricey, but they do some quality work!

Yumcha 03-08-2012 04:10 PM

+1 for not debadging the car. Why?

Yumcha 03-08-2012 04:10 PM

And waitaminit...when did Kimchi here change his name back!?!?? :annoyed:

I switched it back for him a week or so ago. Funny thing, he hadn't even realized it. I should have left it.

I've never thought of it that way.....hence :agree:

Besides, the G37xS is not to common a sight. I saw one yesterday but can't remember the last time I did so.

pwr2panda 03-10-2012 02:21 PM

I think the back would great with the chrome letters plastidipped with the "S" OEM red

Mmm...if my trim was blacked out, I'd be inclined to agree, since my old TSX was CGP with blacked trim and plastidipped emblems.

But since I'm keeping the chrome window trim, I think the emblems look good the way they are. :)

:word:

I see plenty of G37S sedans, but not many xS sedans.

My high school teacher got one. Said she chose the xS pretty much just because it had the red leather. Oh, and she was coming from a Honda Odyssey

CCColtsicehockey 03-11-2012 06:55 PM

wtf the name change was permanent I thought?

Patsfreak1281 03-11-2012 07:11 PM
