Still, some "gripes"...for the amount I paid, you'd think Audi would give a touchscreen. To use "graffiti" to enter text or via the music-spinner is a bit...dated. The telescopic steering wheel is manual. Most cars in this pricepoint is electronic. Not sure why they cheaped out there on that. There is NOT enough storage as a general comment. I mean, I've made it all work nicely but an extra compartment for where the elbow rest is would be nice.

Yeah, the interior has some definite presence. It's just gorgeously laid-out.

To be honest, once you are used the the dial... you wont even use the touch screen. The new Idrive in my car is touch screen, i think i only used it once. The dial is actually much faster and safer, especially when the car is moving.
The only downside is it obviously takes longer to enter the address manually, but you should not be doing that while driving anyway, touchscreen or not.
Besides i dont know about Audi's voice recognition (I think it will be very similar to BMW), you can try it out. Mine works very very well 95%+ of the time, even with my accent. (address or point of interest or even just a name of the restaurant)

I think the reason why they haven't had that much impact is that they haven't deviated too much from the prior models. For good reason - the Audis of the past decade look incredible. Whereas with the B8 (2008/2009) A4, that was a drastic and striking change, and fresh in peoples minds at the time.
And yeah, the 2016+ Camaro as well as the 718 Cayman are two of my favorite looking cars on the road today. No, they also haven't changed all that much from their predecessors, but I like them all the same.
Btw, those sport seats look striking. I really like the "quilted" leather look. Very exotic looking.

Audi interiors have been setting the standard for years now and this new one is no exception! I do have to say that the new G70 interior is extraordinary, and you can really tell just how much Hyundai's scalping of top German designers and engineers has paid off!!

Agreed, and as I said, the original S5 is still one of the sexiest cars I've ever seen. The only issue I have with the current one is that Audi has basically sharpened the original design, with more wedges and angles rather than the softer curves of the original. But once I saw those Sportbacks with proper wheels and ride height I came around. The white one with the gold wheels looks killer!

If I were in NorCal, I would've been in proximity to slap the smug grins off of a few people long ago.
But, sadly, not very close. By the look of things, I look like I'm closer to Alaska.

I had it for six months. It is cool. I let it lapse when I decided not to pay AT&T $480 for 18 months of wireless access since I use my phone GPS. I still pull up the map view at times when I am in an unfamiliar area and want to see what streets are around since the VC is much more panoramic than the phone.

I really like the map view, but for navigation CarPlay/Android Auto works well, too. VC is amazing.
