mine seemed like I needed to get very close to the car to make it work. especially driver door handle when
key in pocket. Just needed a new battery although I'm sure that's not the case for you. Was fob in the dash
or in your purse?
someone already did the windows up AND down with the fob through vagcom on mine.
Looking forward to getting the OBDEleven to mess with some things like no more wink when signalling
and maybe brightest setting for the DRL

Yeah, this happened mid-drive. Nothing catastrophic happened but I got a chime and some graphic in yellow that the fob is not detected.
