well, when its one of UUC's show and demo cars i think it would be. You guys are just so ignorant its funny. And actually, yes the M5 was quality, although the miles were high-someone I know looked at it, and said it was in great shape, the 2000-2001 M5's had a problem with the fuel lines, and wasn't worth the risk. Do you want me to get pics of the e46? VIP honda had an e46 for $30,000, low mileage, just smg, that i looked at. The cars exist, you just have to know where to look. I don't know how anyone could want a z when compared to an m3 or m5

If i recall, someone previously on this thread posted about a G35, there were 4 or 5 G35 for sale on Autotrader. There is an E46 for sale from UUC for $26,000. There is a E36, 400 hp, for sale for 24ish. Somebody asked if there were better cars under $25k, and yes, there are. You guys just don't know where to look...there is no reason to buy a crappy car, when there are plenty of gorgeous cars out there, that are reliable and still fast. The SLK isn't fast, unless you do some mods, and i was in one that would make you crap your pants. Same with the Miata. Most of those cars I have either driven or been in one, and they were quick, with mods.

I've been looking at M5's and E46 M3's for a few months. Best M5 i've seen in good condition had about 50K miles and was 38K.

E36 w/ 400 hp? Who want's to buy a heavily modified car? E46 M3 or 325 for 26K? If it was an M3, I wouldn't touch that car in a hart beat.

What mods can you do to an SLK 230? Let alone what mods can you do to a SLK230 to make you crap your pants. I sure know I don't think it's possible to find one that would make me crap my pants.

Miata is a good option, they are bitchin cars, but never ever would I get caught driving one unless I was on a race track.

Good job at trying to back peddle your idiotic mindset

Bullshit, I get the local and state auction pricing and ;ow mileage cars are not going for that price at AUCTION I'd say it's "possible" if the car had 70K+ on it. But it definately wasn't low mileage, unless your low mileage is 30K+ which for me it's 30K or less.

Yes, you are right, we are the ignorant ones. Why not show us some links instead of saying you "will" show them to us.

You are right, someone would be a fool to take a Z over a M3 or M5 for the same price, cool thing is, that's not reality.

Another thing to think of is the Z may still be under warranty, if not replacement parts are cheap, which can't be said for the M3 or M5.

You can get an M5 for $30k if it has 70-80k miles on it.

M3 for $30k with 40-60k miles on it.

Can be done but thats a lot of miles for a lot of money. Rather buy a new car for 30k.

exactly, the deals "are" out there, but not for the low mileage in shape cars he's talking about. That said, you'd still have a hard time finding a good shape M3 w/ 50K for 30K, most will be 33-35 (and it'll still be a 2001 ). M5's are out there, for a good price, but anything north of 50K is all you are going to get for anywhere close to that money. But I do retract my statements, these deals can be found, but the car's will be pretty worn.

Oh and if you found an M3 with low miles for 30k... then you should have bought it.

What do you drive anyways?
