1) Buying a car for MPG is not worth it (unless you have a 10mpg SUV)

1) I actually like all the Bangle designs, sans the 5-series.

2) A car can still be a popular sports car, even if it doesn't come with a stick.

3) As much as I love the Challenger concept, all of this retro styling is going to ensure that domestic companies will never have that next big sports car and will never move forward.

4) The new Eclipse looks like shit.

5) As someone else said, MB C-Classes are overpriced for what you get, as is the E-Class.

6) Aston Martin is one of the least-appreciated exotic car companies out there.

7) Audi needs a 2+2 coupe besides the A4 convertible.

8) The reason Jaguar is unappreciated is because until the new XK (which is drop-dead gorgeous), they haven't done anything new in the longest time.

2. LX470/Landcruisers are really overpriced and outdated.
3. HEMI engines are overrated (new ones) and are being whored out, same goes for the “SS” from Chevy.

1) My G35 is the best car (overall) I've owned.
2) I hate chrome wheels of any sort, on any car. I think they look like crap.
3) Audi's and VW's have the worst reliabilty in the industry.
4) BMW's suspension and drivetrains are under-rated by Japanese car lovers.
5) Domestic vehicles, aside from a few halo cars, are not worth buying, ever.

Oh one more:

6) I agree that buying cars for fuel economy isn't a great idea, but the VQ is a thirsty sob!

I TOTALLY AGREE! One exception though is big bodied cars, ie S, 7, A8, XJ, 300C. Those cars can pull off the large chrome wheels if done tastefully. But these days, I see people putting 20" + ghetto fabulous wheels on TSX and Acura TLs and IMO it just makes them look terrible.

Adding on to my list) G35 coupe is one stunning beautiful car, I went to go eat today, adn I saw this brand new laser red coupe, and man o man what a looker. Hopefully I'll be able to afford one later on.

Explain #2, and #5 is just wow... lol. I think the most important car in Acuras line up is the TL followed by the TSX, as those are the cars that sell, and that bring in the profit .

I was going to put something about the RSX too. I don't know that it's the most important car in Acura's lineup, but I think it's my favorite car under $30k.

Of course, you do have the VQ with the worse fuel economy. (I get 23mpg in my 02 Maxima and about 18mpg in my 05 Murano)

i know i do, i do mostly city and i do have a heavy foot so i'm on it a little bit, i get like 12mpg, 15 if i'm lucky. but i love off roading with it, me and my dad will go out sometimes in our SUV's or he'll bring his truck. i swear i can't get this truck stuck at all. the CL is still up for sale, i take it out every once in a while, gonna miss it.

I've got something different for you.

1) I can see Hyundai become a even more serious threat to Honda and Toyota in the near future; in fact, I can see myself buying a Hyundai as my next car due to its excellent value.

2) GM cars are very underrated, when you consider how much they cost. For example, a Saturn ION costs $3-$4000 less than the new Civic but has the same "essentials..." yes, its less refined, etc...but the price difference is at least $3000.

3) Cartridge Oil Filters are overrated...period. They are messy to change, and often requires wacky tools for the housing...not to mention the numerous rubber gaskets. (Uhh...the necessity of a Hex wrench to change the upside-down mounted cartridge filter on the Mazda 6 is a ) Not to mention that most cartridge filters, in the "lower-grade," are as expensive as many of the high-efficiency, "normal" oil filters.

4) Synthetic oil is waaaaaaaaaay overrated. Most DIYers will find a better value in changing their own oil with a $1/qt conventional oil every 4-5000 miles compared to changing it every 7500-10000 miles with synthetic oil. However, this of course does not apply to those who don't change their own oil, as the labor costs will quickly make longer drains with synthetic a better value for the people in that crowd.

5) Trop Artic, Chevron, Havoline, and Supertech oils are underrated.
