To XPEL or Not

Hello All -

Recently, my car was accordioned and I'm shopping for a new clear bra. Had the Avery-Dennison Nanofusion protection and it was very good. It did what it was supposed to do. However, bug splatters were difficult to get out.

I'm now shopping around and came across this new stuff called XPEL Ultimate Self Healing Protective Film. Watched the videos on their site (XPEL.com) and I'm thoroughly impressed. I called around for quotes and its very reasonable!! Just as much as the Nanofusion cost for the exact same coverage but it has a 10 YEAR warranty! 10 YEARS! That's longer than I will likely own the car!

I'm likely going to get the XPEL Ultimate but I was wondering if anyone on this forum has had it installed. I don't see any down side to purchasing it but I want to know if anyone has experience with it.

Thanx

I had xpel ultimate installed on my R8 and its far superior to the 3m/ventureshield product I had on my old Aston Vantage...I also have a great installer in central NJ as well who is very reasonable....Id def recc. this over the other PPF that Ive used in the past...

Looks like a great product. I have heard someone talk positively about it, but never seen the real deal up close.

My buddy installs this in Texas. Had it on his white GT-R and it yellowed pretty fast. Also be careful of the 10y warranty. Sure they will give you new material, but will it cover labor? That's where the coin is.
