For sure but the thing I love about that year is just the SC whine when it flies by you. Good stuff.

There is no replacement for displacement.
I have seen very few V8 sedans or coupes that do not haul ass.

lol.....

I have a Z28 and yet I've always acknowledged than an 03-04 SVT Cobra with a Bassani catback is probably the nicest sound you'll get this side of $30,000

Can't compare FWD with all types of electronics to keep you on the road to a RWD V8 beast. Plus, you live in VA... so it's not like you can drive the thing all year round.

Not to mention insurance.

I vote no. Save your money and put it into smarter things. Then, in 10 years when you have a house, 3 car garage, and a life you can start buying cars as toys...

Well everyone.. After the test drive the car is exactly what i thought it would be. I would be a really bad liar to tell you guys that i wouldn't wanna leave M3s, the Audi S line, and AMGs in the dust with this monster. The problem though is im mature enough to know that im not mature enough to handle this car (If that makes any sense). I would kill myself within the first month of owning this car. Thanks for the advice anyone .

Forgot to mention my mind is hooked on my ex-lover now (BMW 330cic) . It was the car i originally wanted but my dad instead got me a TL cause he said the TLs a much better car and he was scared of me having a convertible as my first car. Well... i ran into a 2002 330cic which was a light gray color and it was in perfect condition inside and out! There wasn't even a single scratch on the car or the rims. I can get it for $12,500 and it has 70k miles on it. I didn't get to test drive it cause it was about to get detailed. The car was in such good condition that i thought they already had detailed it. Forgot to mention that its manual like my TL but its only a 5-speed unlike the TLs 6-speed . I know im losing quite a bit of power but its all good cause the TLs extra power is only gonna get my into deeper shit. So would this be a upgrade or downgrade? and would you make the trade?

If you like a car, it doesn't matter whether others consider it an upgrade or downgrade.

However, I wouldn't trade for an older BMW without a warranty unless I had enough money to deal with any problems that might arise-- esp. when considering a convertible.

Mustangs are miserable cars to drive before the '05 models. I know, I've owned a couple and I always end up selling em when I realize how much they suck. Lousy driving position, lousy shifters, crappy ride, unstellar quality....
A car I keep is my SC400 - if you want addictive V8 sounds, get urself one of those
