Would you buy a NEW M45 for $10K OFF

One of my local dealers has a leftover 2003 M45 for $10K off MSRP.
Puts it at $32K OTD...still has 48 month factory warranty, only a couple hundred miles total on the car.

It's not something I was looking for initially, but with that deal, I'm starting to warm up to it.

Car is black with the chrome rims, pretty well loaded up too...but don't believe it has the navi though.

It's RWD and has a v8 (340hp??), so I should like it, but I'm not really into the looks of the M45. That's just me tho'.

Sounds like a great price

There are alot of good deals out there, Chevy dealers are offering up to 10K off the C5 vettes (final build date is July 2nd IIRC).

Never again.

IMO, the M45 is not an attractive car.

I would. I think the m45 is sharp looking.

As far as Navi goes... i would never get a german made car with it. BMW navi was awful, acura's navi spoiled me. Rather save the money and get aftermarket.

Definitely! At that price it's competitive with a fully equipped hemi-powered Chrysler300 C. Come to think of it, theM45 is much better &, at $32K more affordable than a Seville STS.

I personally wouldn't because the all new M45 is right around the corner.

Have never had Nav in any of my cars and don't miss it to be honest.

If I had that kind of money, in less than a heartbeat I would be all over that car. It's rare, a good value, and has a 340HP V8 for 32k? You couldn't stop me from signing that paper.

I'd go for it, if I were you.

Which is the reason for the 10K discount I would guess. Gotta move 'em while they can.

Indeed. I've seen TWO on the road. Both of them white...

If I said I saw 3 on the road total, I'd be lying. I've maybe seen 2 tops...a gold one & a white one.

They say it hasn't sold well because the car isn't 'big-enough' for the US market.

Go do it, and use some of the 10K saved for suspension mods.

thats a hell of a car for $32k, the interior is pretty much the same as the Q45, comfortable as hell, its second to the lexus ls430 in comfort, and its got that big engine, and its like the CL in the way that not many people have it

I'd still take a TL over it any day. plus the TL is way more pimp as far as styling vs the M45
To me the M45 is bland

No kidding. The only two Navis I'm familiar with is the Acura and BMW. And considering that the Navi option was 2k for the CLS, then I wouldn't pay more than $400 for the BMWs. i.e., it's at least five times better.

reason: m45 looks like a luxury-line taurus or other domestic 4 door large family sedan

the M45 is pimp. I'd pick one up in a heartbeat. Its classic old school styling, with all the newer sophistication. and like others said, its rare. you dont see many at all. Imagine having one hooked up, you'd be in a class by yourself.

I like the M45...I think it is the conservative styling (Like the CL) that I like...that and its a V8!

:shakehd: Look at it this way. Which car would Tony Soprano be more likely to drive - the TL or the M45? The M45 hands down. The car has mafia chic going for it. By comparison, the TL is a 3 series/ 5 series Biffmobile wannabe.

I'll certainly agree to that, the Japanese navi systems are much more intuitive.

My boss drives that car... Got to ride in it on our way out to O'Hare for a meeting this past Thursday.

It's pretty pimp. NAVI or not, that's a pretty sweet deal.

It rode very nice, had wonderful pickup and all the luxury amenities you could think of.

I'd consider it for that price.

have you ever seen a modded one? with a nice body kit and a lil drop that thing is one of the hottest cars on the road. ima see if i can find a pic of one that some japanese aftermarket brand did. it was black. ive test driven one also, its very good on pick up and general feel of the interior but i dont like how the trunk looks so big from the outside but it is suprisingly small.
