Would you buy this car?
I was just at my local Acura dealer getting some service done, and they had this TSX in the showroom on it's side to showcase some undercoating service they were selling. Personally I don't think being on it's side is any good for the engine/trans especially if they didn't drain the oils before they put it on it's side. I bet they don't disclose this to the future owner as well.

Yup, they'll probably simply disclose it as showroom model, never driven. I don't think the engine and tranny would actually suffer so much from being on their sides (how would draining the fluids help? just curious) so much as those motor mounts are probably going to be warped to all hell.
Also, how the hell did they support the car like that? Did they weld that support thingy to the subframe rails of the car or something? You silly Canucks

Bingo, that frame that it's on it bolted onto the hub, the wheel is off and is kind of leaning against another part of the frame thingy.
Then engine would be damaged because 4 stroke engines are not meant to be put on their sides like that, the oil in the sump will run up into the combustion chambers etc. 2 stroke engines don't matter because there isn't a sump for the oil so you can knock em around all you want, this is why most chainsaws/weed eaters are 2 strokes (well they are also lighter/more powerful)

Would I buy at list - No
Would I buy at half price - Maybe
Would I buy at half price AND they extend the warranty to a full 10/100,000 - Sure.
(and give me a new engine and tranny)

it cant be that bad plus they give you a warranty.
so if anything is funny, they'll have to replace it.
basically gives you warrant to fuck around with that car as much as possible and have them take the blame.
