Would any of you buy an H3?
One of my friends in NYC just bought one. I tried to talk him out of it. He wouldn't listen. He thinks it has the cool factor cause he can say "I got a hummer"
It gets about 16mpg(alot less I'm sure). Has NO power, & not even much cargo room.
He also paid $31K for it. A base model with the auto.

Its a good offroader, but its underpowered. I think it looks better than the H2. It looks like your trying way too hard to impress, and a Jeep Rubicon could school that thing. Im also not a fan of GM interiors. And whats with a 5 cylinder?, They should have made it a 6 and put more power behind it. Even though Hummers have no practicality, the H3 in my mind is more practical than an H2, just simply because its more capable.

I'd rather get gang-banged by :ghey: men than have one...

checked it out at the car show, wasn't the best I have seen. only thing I really liked was the comfortable seats.
so no I wouldn't. and your friend is moronic to think that "a hummer", the cheapest one at that, is prestigous.

I was over a friends house and his wife’s cousin stopped by with her new H3 that she had just purchased.
WHAT A PIECE OF SHIT.
It’s all about the look. Hardly anything is put on that thing for function. It’s all just bolt-on appearance items.
The inside is TINY compared to how it looks on the outside and everything you touch is cheap plastic.

I personally hate the styling of the H3. The H2 is so played out as it is. This is a poor cry for something a little more affordable for people.....lame. Yeah so they can say, I have a hummer.

They had H2's ALL over the SEMA show in Vegas, the past 3 years, they probably had 100 at the show, all with lift kits, slammed to the ground, and with 28" rims....

Yea if they started putting turbo 6's in it or V8's. They need to scrap that lack luster piece o crap 5 cyl and put a real engine in it.
Guess we will have to wait to see what it gets when they bring out the Alpha
