Won "Best Acura Other" (than RSX/Integra) at Sport Compact Night 2004 Vancouver

Yeah, so my audio installer wanted to enter my car into Sport Compact Night in Vancouver. I never had a desire to show off my car, but he offered me free detailing and a few tickets.

Being the cheap ass that I am, I took him up on his offer and allowed him to enter my car.

He threw on these 19" Velox rims. They looked ok...but I just wasn't feeling them...I'm pretty sure other people thought they were ugly. But I didn't care...I got a free detailing job

Anyways, I won "Best Acura Other" than Integra/RSX.

Congrats! Which shop did your install? And I think I read somewhere about you getting a supercharger?

Thanks, Boyz Club Car Audio & Security did my install...it's still an ongoing work in progress though. Just a few more things and it should be complete.

Yeah, I've been running the s/c for the past little while.

I bought it used from ZodiakTL over on A-TL.com.

I have a mechanic friend who owns his own garage. He cut me a killer deal on the install. It's called Fine Edge Auto located downtown.

If you'd like more info about him or his shop, pm me

I saw yur car there yesterday. I took pics but still have to post them. Congats on the trophy, I was gonna get my girl to represent my CL at the next event. Just waitin to get a lambo door install. The guys by the stage KC Aerdynamic Designs www.kcaero.com quoted me $1500.00 cdn for the hinges and about $600.00 cdn install. Its alot cheaper than all the other places around here. I think theres a CL club in Richmond but not sure. Last time I heard everyone was gonna do a group dyno run I think $80.00 for three runs. There aren't alot of CL's representing maybe i'll see ya at the next show.

Try it now. I posted the [img] file. If the dreaded red x shows up copy and paste. If it still doesn't work, let me know and I'll host them on my car domain site instead.

Thanks!!! Were you the 6-spd SS CL-S at the show?

Lambo doors on a CL...that'll grab a lot of attention at the next show.

If there's a CL club in Richmond, that's news to me...but I think they're all just members of this site and A-TL.com.

I'm not sure if you'll see me at the next show though. I'm not really into entering my car...I just did it as a favour to Boyz Club. That and for a free detailing job

You think so?

I'm pretty sure a lot of the people at the show didn't care for them.

I hated the look when I first saw them, but they are growing on me so maybe they aren't that bad.

Oh well, the Velox rims come off tomorrow and go back to the shop. Back to the stock 17"

And, I wonder how some of you guys can ride on 19" rims. 235/35/19 sized tires are incredibly harsh on the road.

You guys think so? I guess maybe my conservative side is showing...they look a bit too busy for my tastes.

That's what I like about the stock rims. Nice, clean and uncluttered.

Thanks, but it was a surprise to me.

I thought the white NXS with carbon fibre hood would win...or one of the JDM TSX's.

There was an '04 TL, but he only had chrome rims...dunno if it was lowered.

The satin silver 6-spd CL-S had a very nice custom fibreglass trunk install and lowered on rims...but otherwise stock.

Looking back in hindsight, I regret not taking more pics for you guys.

The one in the hello kitty talon pics is my g/f...it had hello kitty crap all over...come to think of it, the owner is female...makes sense.

The one in the H2 is her friend. Crazy!!! The H2 came all the way up from Arizona. The I.C.E in that truck is impressive...my guess is that the owner must have spent somewhere in the 6-figure amount.

I would like the chance to meet all you guys and put faces to names...but I'm not too confident of my tranny. I'm still on the original, but for the last few weeks it's been shifting rougher than usual. I don't even feel comfortable driving down to Seattle anymore.

-Everything by Comptech...including the s/c except the b-pipe.
-The Versus kit with the bmw lip spoiler.
-$10-12G USD I.C.E. consisting of Pioneer HU/Focal/JL Audio.

Things waiting to be installed: GReddy E-manage and Payn Max boost pulley, Autometer boost, A/F ratio, tranny temp and fuel pressure gauges.

Still need to save up for the Wilwood brake kit and rims

And, waiting on Scalbert's intercooler
