Windshield Wipers: What's your favorite brand/type?
#41
I have been using the TripleEdge brand wiper blades found in Walmart and found them to be better than the Bosch, Rain-X, etc. It is silicone based and typically lasts around 3 - 4 years. Even after 2 years of going through NorthEast winter and they still wipe without streaking. The blades (or may be the inserts) are warrantied for life, so if you sent in the warranty card then you can get free replacement at cost of minimal shipping (probably $2), however I have never cared to do as I seldom keep a car for more than 3 years. I only had to replace once on my van which was after 3.5 years of installing them. They lasted through 4 winters one of which was spent in midwest in -30F with the van parked outside.
