It depends on the car, but I'd probably buy a Honda before I buy another Acura.

That leaves the TSX, which I like, but I really wanted something with AWD and maybe a little bit more power.
The IS250 AWD is a contender I suppose, but it's damn small so I don't know if it'll work. I like the Accord Coupe, but think I should get a sedan for practicality reasons. I love the new A4, but Audi reliability....scary. Altima....meh. Maxima is just downright ugly. Ugh, there is just nothing on the market that interests me right now. I want decent mpg and reliability. TSX seems to be the only thing that fits the description right now. Wish I could afford a GS.

Dunno yet...I know for sure my next car needs 4 doors. The front-runners so far:
- Acura MDX
- Cadillac CTS
- Lexus GS450H
- Infiniti M45
- Infiniti FX50

Why do you even need V8 4.5l? Go with 350, you won't be disappointed.

As the lease on our 05 Murano draws to a close, we are considering replacing it with an 09 Murano. I wanted to cosider the RDX but its a little too small, the MDX is little too expensive and on the Honda side the Pilot is a little too .

I could see replacing our Murano with an RDX or MDX at some point, but the killer for me is that I can drive any other make of car and only have less than five miles to go for service. It's a minimum of 20 miles for Acura and with my recent dealership issue, the service trip climbs to 30 miles which is a bit much especially in Chicago traffic.
That in itself may just keep me away from the Acura brand moving forward.

Im having an uber difficult time choosing between something like a TL or 335i and a 2-door SUV like an FJ with offroad capabilities since Ive effectively lowered all my cars into off-tarmac uselessness.

Looking at the newer acuras...I doubt that I will buy another one. They are so ugly besides the 3g TL. The 4G's front is beyond ugly. I'll probably convert over to nissan, infiniti (older g35s), or BMW (I love the new models).

I will be picking up a 2G TSX or a 3G TL for my next vehicle... I may consider a 2G CPO RL too but it all depends on year/price .. So I voted Yes..
However I have a feeling that the 2010 RL would get afull makeover and will not sport the ugly grill as by then they would have found a new theme for the Acura lineup.. Come to think of it someone is thinking what the style shoul dbe right now ...

I'm not feeling the 4G body styling at all. Maybe seeing in person will make a difference but based on looking at the TSX in person, I don't think it will.
My 06 only has 13K on it so I plan on keeping it for a while and I'm hoping that the used 3G performance parts will become more available after the 4G's are available.

It appears that over the last 24 hours, the percentage of "yes" votes has almost doubled.
I just realized that the poll is probably less biased than one would expect on an Acura enthusiast site because I posted it in the part of the forum filled with more former Acura owners, or never-Acura owners, than the average. If I'd posted in the 3G TL section, for example, there would've been a higher percentage of "yes" votes.
Well, I'll be next seriously considering cars in another two years--at that time, I'll have close to 80k miles on my 2G RL. Hopefully Acura will have something that will snare me by then.

Just bought a G37. Will wait about 6-7 years and see what will be out there.
Answered poll as "don't know yet" (notice ... 6-7 years after current models will be replaced with NEW ones ...)

What Would Don Draper Do?
i voted "don't know yet"...
i'm planning on keeping my '05 TSX for awhile, and by the time i'm ready to buy a new car (new or used), they may offer a V6 in the 2g TSX. heck, i'm not planning on buying anytime soon, so the 5g TL might even be available.
bottom line is that it's going to be awhile, and who knows what will be available by the time i'm ready.

After i graduate and pay off my college debts, i might jump from my CL to the fully electric Telsa Roadster that goes from 0-60 in less than 5secs. And it still manages 220miles per charge. If i can't afford the telsa, GSXR's and kawasaki Ninja's are next on the list.

I just put in my order (via auction) for a 2006/2007 Subaru Legacy B4 GT Spec B. I'll post pics once its in...
Honda is a good company that turned it's Acura brand into very expensive Hondas. I mean, they could have really done something good by going to AWD or RWD, and styling their cars right. They went conservative and stayed with FWD and some SH-AWD, and they will loose.

I really think the stations are selling regular gas as premium because a.) the chance of them getting tested is slim and b.) with the amount of profit in doing it these days, the fines might not even matter (ie: the profits exceed the fines).
Most customers would never know the difference if they got regular vs. premium. I can tell because my engine pings. I recently bought gas at a Lukoil station away from my home town and it's not pinging so I'm pretty sure I've been getting ripped-off. I always buy premium and never mind paying extra for it but now that I realize the gas isn't being tested, it makes me want to get a car that doesn't require premium.

Over here, the LGT is a 2.0L motor producing 260ps (AT) and 280ps (MT). So I'll be at 276 HP with the stick, and some simple mods (intake and exhaust plus a tuning) I should reach 300. Not bad....
