The Wife's New SUV
I picked up a new Audi Q7 Prem Plus 3.0 for the wife on Friday. Been driving it for three days and I am still amazed how well this 5,000 pound SUV performs. Acceleration in sport / dynamic mode is amazing as well as the way it holds the road for a vehicle this big, even my wife mentioned "how light it is on it's feet". Only problem is the information overload I am experiencing trying to learn all it's features..

Congrats, I absolutely LOVE that interior color and think it looks extra amazing with that exterior color. I have wanted a car with that color interior forever. I do like the direction Audi has taken with the Q5 and Q7 in terms of the interior and I do like that they fixed a lot of bloat (as mentioned before). I however hate that they didn't really push past the previous look. I still have issues telling the old q5 from the new one unless I see the front end and the Q7 shares a bit too much with the last gen in terms of styling.
On the flip side they shed like 500 pounds going from the last gen to this one, I also love that 3.0t engine. A mild tune can get you a HUGE bump in power and many Audi dealers will do the flash at the dealer while maintaining the warranty for you.

The new Q7 has the bodyline of Avant. They look gorgeous. The interior is insane as well. Enjoy!

Congratulations. The Q7 looks great.
333 hp, 325 lb-ft, and 0-60 in under 6 seconds. Not bad for a people mover.

As other members have already mentioned, the new Q7 is actually rated pretty high in terms of reliability. .. And that "a bit over 300HP" (333HP to be exact) supercharged engine can take that 5000lb, unreliable SUV to 60 in 5.5 seconds while getting 25mpg.. Yeah, I don't see the appeal either... Oh and since you are big on facts, see Car & Driver March 2016 to back up my statement.

Start a thread showing off your car. I want to see what majestic vehicle you drive since you're quick to jump on everyone here.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and if you don't like it that's fine. But you should do your homework before making inaccurate statements on your first or second post to a new to you forum.

Congratulations on the car. Do you mind sharing what some of your favorite features are thus far?

Now granted I only have 300 miles on it so far, but the overall solidness of the cabin is amazing and the level of refinement IMO is "vault like"..
But there is no doubt that my favorite feature is the powertrain and how seamless it delivers power. You don't expect an SUV this size to move the way it does, so the first time you get on it you are shocked because you think to yourself, it shouldn't be this quick and it definitely shouldn't be this nimble.

Nice pickup
Typical stat bench racer ...
A 5000lb SUV doing sub 6 second 0-60s is not acceptable? We aren't cross shopping SRT8s / SQ5s / X5Ms.
Who is to say a brand new SUV is unreliable? Funny part is, link posted here suggest past models are quite the opposite ... and he's backed with a warranty.
GTFO Nab.
