It was $8m to develop. It's a concept car. Most concept cars cost millions to develop because they are a one of a kind. I doubt it's even for sale for that price.

Mitsubishi’s Sport Truck Concept was $15 million
I remember reading about the Mitsu's concept truck that was worth $15 million. The had guards around it at the Toronto Auto Show in 2004. Not sure if this is the same one.

That makes sense. But they way they did that review it came off as being an 8 million car. I.E. 8 million to produce, not to develop.
