their quality control has improved greatly, as i have read.
i would buy a hyundai over any GM product. GM cars, to me at least, should be driven off the ship/train and straight to the junk yard, b/c that's where they're gonna be after a couple of years of ownership.

Not as bread and butter as the 6 and 3 but according to this site they exported 55,000. Regardless Mazda seems to be everywhere and does sell well.

To help make a case for Hyundai (who I don't think have surpassed Mazda nor Subaru), JD Power gave them very favorable ratings for their 3 year old car reviews. The 2002 models improved by around 100 problems per 100 car (I think that was the unit they use).
