hey guys,
does anybody here happen to work in the industry or just happen to know where i could go online or who to call to be able to set up a wholesale relationship for peformance products and stereo/speakers so i could order regularly and at wholesale? i need to know asap if anyone can help, thanks guys!!

FYI, you will need a Federal Tax ID number in order for a wholesaler to sell to you. You will also likely need to fax them proof that you are setup as a reseller.

And if you do not plan on actually selling the items and want to use it for your own use, you need to report it on your tax returns for that Tax ID number...

I attempted to start my own stereo business a few years ago. My "business" was up and running after about $15 in fee's to the state for a TAX ID. Once I found some distributors I faxed them my ID papers and I was on my way. Problem I ran into is that most distributors won't let you buy from them unless you have an official store front. I planned on selling online so most people won't sell to me. Its a contract thing they have with the MFG's. Well after a year I determined it was too hard to compete with other online retailers. I closed up my business with the state and product I had not sold was listed as a loss.

Is this the correct forum?
