I love Volks and I love HRE's.

In fact, just a few weeks ago I saw a set of Volk TE37's on an M3 and it looked awesome.

based on looks of the rims, I'd have to say HRE, but depending on the color of the rim and the color of the car they are going on, that opinion can quickly change.

Get them both. Switch them out weekly.

If I had to choose, I would go with the HRE's. But I really like both choices.

I like them both equally. Thats why i made the thread silly goose.

Surprised so many like the HRE that much more. I thought it would have been a close match.

The Volks just don't seem to flow with the car.

Asking what people like is different than simply buying something because it's not the current norm. Hence my response to phee's post.

Wow, they look a lot different in that picture above.

It just solidifies my opinion on the HREs looking better.

How come the volk site doesn't even list those wheels? I didn't even know those wheels existed. referring to the G2.

HRE.

Not feeling the Volk on your car for some reason. I think it's b/c I associate that brand/style of wheel on Japanese cars instead of European tuners...

I like HRE, but not those wheels so much. I agree with JB that I associate Volks with Asian cars, but in this case, I'd say get the Volks.

Can't go wrong with either.

I say, HRE for a "lux" look, and Volk for a "sporty" look, or for more performance.

But for your car, I say HRE, since it's a sedan.

I would probably pick the G2 20's for myself since they're easier to clean. If it takes me more than three minutes to leave my wheels spotless then they're not worth it...

19" G2. The gunmetal would look pretty damn good on a blue car too.

Wish you would have posted the 19" G2 instead of the 20". The 20" is ugly IMO, while the 19" has that nice concave look. Mesh is a little too common these days, but they look nice. My decision is a lot harder now but I already voted for the HRE set before seeing the 19" G2 and I haven't changed my mind yet

Come to think of it, TE37s would look a even better than the G2.
