what's your opinion on 2006 Infiniti FX35?

Specifically in accordance with the different packages I have for my FX35:
Tech pack: Navigation System, Intelligent Cruise Control, Intelli-key entry and start, satellite radio, Lane Departure system.
Touring pack: Sunroof, Universal Garage Door Opener, auto on/off headlamps, cargo net and cover.
Hands-free pack: Bluetooth, Intelli-key entry and start.
Sport pack: Sport suspension tuning, 20-inch tires and aluminum-alloy wheels, aluminum roof rails, auto on/off headlights, Bluetooth, sunroof, Intelli-Key entry and start, auto up/down front windows, aluminum pedals and cleared LED tail lights (optional I think)
I somehow have everything except Bluetooth in my FX despite the fact that it comes with two of the four packages.

I can just spot it out whenever I see on the road which has which package.
If she's around $20K, has she looked at a 2006 MDX? We love ours and if she's into wheels, they look killer with 19s or 20s (ours with 19's).
Better yet, if she's just driving to school and back, why get an Infiniti with almost 70K miles? What about an almost new Honda CR-V? Mazda CX-7?

She used own X5, Range Rover, GS300, S550, and etc.
I honestly don't mind some of those cars you mentioned, but she hates Acura, Honda, and Mazda.
After year and half, I'm going to get her something nicer car.... I'm just trying to help her build her credit.
I have connection with MB, Porsche, and Audi, but because of her credit we couldn't get her approve.

oh.. to add on
i paid $32k for my '06 FX35 AWD Certified with 29k miles
it was loaded with everything infiniti offered in '06 except dvd player.
so... $20k isn't too bad (for oregon) if it comes with tech and sport package.
and you can easily differentiate if it comes with sport package or not with 20" wheels & smoked head/taillights.
another picture of mine when i just bought it.

We first looked into 03-05 model but after test driving 06 model, we couldn't go back to those older model.

I purchased my 06 FX RWD right after it got in the show room. I have 54k miles on the odometer and I have yet to have any problems other than battery dying earlier this year (it was time for replacement).
I'm 6ft and I thought there is plenty of room in the rear seat. I did not have any headroom issue and you can recline the rear seats. It's quite comfy back there.
With small suspension mods, it handles really really good for a fat car.
Side Note: I didn't know you were on acurazine too minkl81. I'm a long time member of IS

I am not big fan of RX330 either because that car nothing special/stands out about that car, but it does have everything she needs.
This is going to be her temp. car until she finishes her school and settle down for a real job.

Three Wheelin'
...She will not ride anything less than some of those cars that I mentioned on first post.
...Spoiled? You can say that.
...She used own X5, Range Rover, GS300, S550, and etc.
...After year and half, I'm going to get her something nicer
...I'm just trying to help her build her credit.
she is a keeper. believe me.

So let me translate: her parents let her drive their cars and/or they bought her very expensive cars as a teenager and now that she's on her own, she "hates Acura, Honda, and Mazda" because they are beneath her.
Bro, put on your best Nikes and run, RUN for the hills. Nothing will ever be good enough. You're not her parents.
As far as your dilemma of finding her a car, I'm not sure why Lexus is okay but Acura is on her hate list, but if she likes the RX, go for it.

I have no clue why she hates Acura but likes Lexus.
We are done car shopping now... we finally decided to go with FX35.
I just want to thank everyone for helping me out with this headache.

I don't know. I took my boss's RX350 to SF about 6 times last year, and I thought it was a terrific car. And the car is actually pretty fast! It was great on gas as well.
Don't know anything about RX330 though. Good luck bro.

Doesn't hurt my feelings...the new FX takes getting used to for some. It can be likened to an angry-looking fish.
But, I like fish.

I just pull the carfax and I am little concern about this car...
She is going to be the 4th owner... between 3rd and 4th ownership only has been 4 month. Should we be concern about this?

I would be more concerned with the maintenance history. You might want to call the dealerships it's been to see if you can get a copy of the service records. Most dealerships don't mind doing that. It won't be on the Carfax, but if you can narrow it down to the handful of dealerships in the areas that the car has been that might help put your fears to rest.
Thumb through the manual too. Sometimes people leave their names and addresses in those. I never understood why. Also, if it has a Navi you might want to check where it has been. Oh, and check the address book, if it has bluetooth. Most people don't clear their personal entries out of the Nav or Addy book. Clues, clues...

I wouldn't be concerned with that. It is an '06. The 3rd owner could have been some sort of fruitcake that either trades cars in all of time or couldn't afford the payments (bad luck) or just decided that after driving it for a while it decided that the really did not like the car.
