If I limit myself to $100k for 5 cars:
1. Daily Driver - WRX $27k
2. Track Toy - S2000 $22k for a good condition one
3. Truck/SUV - MDX $50k
4. GT (grand touring) car (highway cruiser) - SKIP. No more $
5. open category - Bicycle $1,000
This game sux if I can only spend $20k on a car on average ....

40-70k?

$40-$70k per car would be pure fantasy for me personally, as would owning 5 cars at a time.
I tended to populate my list with used examples of "near" (or soon-to-be?) classics... like, say, the Jaguar XJR. I could realistically imagine owning any single car on my list, but all 5 at once? Not in my lifetime.
Still, it's interesting to see what folks think is "attainable" and what cars are in the realm of "fantasy." Good stuff.

This was harder than I thought it would be.
Volvo V60 Polestar
Honda S2000 (BMW M2 if it has to be brand new)
Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro
Lexus GS 350 F-Sport (Lexus RC F if it has to be a coupe)
Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro
Or sell all of them and get a 991 Targa GTS to fill the shoes of nearly every category

Honestly I just need an off-road rig that I can swap streetable all-terrains on so it's not unbearable to drive on the freeway. My girlfriend's car can serve as the DD
She already complains about the ride comfort and semi-streetable brake pads on my BRZ. If she didn't ride in it as often I would have full on nails-on-a-chalkboard race pads and gutted the interior.

Remembering back to James May driving one on Top Gear "Don't drive your dream cars"
Seem to recall him also saying you needed a friend to help with the clutch & a hammer to change gears.

That's correct. Almost every YouTube vlogger who's driven one says the same thing. In a fantasy line up though I'll take all the quirks, impracticality, and unreliability just to walk into my living room / garage to see a real Black / Gold Countach sitting their for my viewing pleasure. Hey, I have that living room in my fantasy And, when I get tired of driving my overpriced beater I'll park it back in my living room and grab the keys to one of the other vehicles in my fantasy stable.

But that is just my opinion, we can throw in any car in any range as we like

Even if the rule was changed. having 5 70k car is still fantasy... just a more realistic fantasy.

More like near-retirement/retirement fantasy that is feasible if one is fortunate and works hard enough to save enough to afford 5 cars in the 70k range all at the same time.
A small twist to the list, very easy to figure out the theme but cool nonetheless of a car feature gone by...
Daily
Track toy
SUV/Truck (difficult to find a truck/suv in this "theme" but pretty cool truck and somewhat fits in with the theme....)
GT/cruiser - C2 Corvette "Big Tank" (Just learned this thing comes with a 36 gallon fuel tank...perfect for long cruises!)
Open - Way too many to choose from. Just because this was one of my first cars I fell in love with:

Aww shiet, totally forgot about the Unimog.
I would love to have a global expedition vehicle too, built off of a Unimog chassis or other. It's basically an off-road RV, but awesomely badass. You can customize everything from chassis to interior decor and amenities. They usually start off at roughly $200k for the serious ones, and they can go up to a million or more. This is more on the unrealistic side, of course
720-hp Global XRS 7200 6x6 expedition vehicle thunders into view - New Atlas

1. Daily Driver - Manual M3 F80
2. Track Toy - Manual, low gravity and weight, narrow body.... ok I'd love a Ferrari 488GTB [au-to-ma-tic] but I'll set for a 911GT3.
3. Truck/SUV - Caddy Escalade - I just feel more at home in it than a Range Rover.
4. GT (grand touring) car (highway cruiser) - tempted by pure opulence such as S600 Maybach but as as driver - gimme a G12 Alpina (BMW 7-series), hard-presseed, might consider a Panamera
5. open category - an old watercooled VW Mk I or II (Scirocco 16v [I owned 3], or GTI or GLI)
