Dream car? There are a lot of choices, but here it is:

Porsche 959 (very rare)

If not available, a 2010 Maserati Gran Turismo convertible...

My dream car has been the exact same ever since I first saw one. Sure, there are other cars I would love to have, but only one can be called my dream:

1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS
Hugger Orange, with Tuxedo Black Hockeystick stripes, Black Houndstooth seats
396 (L89) with the M22 Muncie, 4.10 Posi

Basically this, without the vinyl top:

^damn, nice choice. I still remember a while back when I was pumping gas one evening at Shell and a '69 Hugger Orange RS/SS 396 with white hockey stick stripes and hood louvers pulls up at the pump behind me. The owner said it was original paint! Still don't believe him, it looked like a brand new paintjob. The thing was breaking necks, three different people came over to look/talk to the owner and everyone else was looking, except an older Asian lady. One of the most memorable Camaros I've ever seen. Black stripes look great too in pictures. Heard some great things about the Muncie 4-speeds, too bad I've never been able to try one out.

I really wanted a HO 4th gen, before I got my 4th gen. Too hard to find that color, and too expensive. Not the same as having a '69 but I love that color.

A pretty cool tribute IMO:

I was pretty much the same way with the mustang. Saw one when I was in 5th grade and wanted one ever since. I refused to consider anything else.

Although I've though of selling the one I have now it was only to buy another 60's car and start the project over. I still feel the same today about the cars as I did all those years ago

My fear with "realistic" dream cars is that eventually I'd get tired of it. LOL ...

I'd love to have a B8 S4 but as good as that car is, it's not a NSX or some other "extreme" sports car.

To me that's something like a Aston Martin Vantage (newer car) or Porsche 930 Turbo (as a classic) that is really only practical about 15% of the time ... But when you drive it you're reminded why you bought it in the first place.

If I can drive it every day, it's not bonkers enough.

1964-1965 Shelby Daytona Coupe. Six were built. A pure race car, designed to compete with the Ferraris in the GT class. Another dream car would be the the GT40. I love the racing Fords of that era. Cars representing a time when two industrialists went to war.

I have looked at the replica Daytona's also. We want more of an open air driver... so that's why we stuck with the Shelby's.

The FF Daytona is pretty hot though. Of course the original is hotter!
