What would you do?

OK, I need some assistance....

I currently own an 06 Honda Civic LX with 4400 miles on it. I love the car, great gas mileage, etc. My wife drives an Odyssey.

I have always wanted an older truck. I found a 94 Silverado, 4X4, ext cab, long bed, with camper top (which we be sold via ebay) It has 138k miles on it. Good paint and interior. It has a brand new motor, tranny, tires, clutch, battery. brakes, and rear end. All of those, except tires and battery, are under warranty for 70k miles. They have approx 11k on them.

One concern = it is a 5 speed and the wifey cannot drive it. (maybe a blessing in disguise)
Gas mileage = It will cost approx 40-50 dollars more a month in gas.
Insurance = full coverage now, liability only with the truck
Money = I think I can sell the Civic for around 17-17.5. He wants 5k for the truck. This would leave me with 12k or so.

I want a truck for all the normal reasons, hunting trips, hauling, camping, etc. Right now I borrow my step dads Sequoia.

Thoughts?

PS--Buying it in addition is not an option. That would be my 5th car and the wifey is tired of cars. I also have the TR6 and Porsche.

if you dont mind the extra gas costs go ahead. seems like you would use it enough to justify the purchase. and that leaves you with quite a bit of extra cash on hand
