For an $80k car I would have to make over $250k/yr

I make just shy of $100k right now and I'm not comfortable paying $30k for a car.

A8 is an incredible car my friend has one but he let it go for the S550. His Cayenne Turbo is crazy also. But then again I have my parents pay

Unless I had money to burn I would not be inclined to blow 80 large on some pile of metal that has a depreciation curve similar to the flightpath of a brick thrown out of an airplane at altitude.
My step father had a nice conversation with a jeweler about the high cost of Swiss watches. My stepfather asked if the jeweler could explain how a small object like a watch could have a price comparable to a new Mercedes-Benz S- class. The jeweler smiled and said "ofcourse the watch is very expensive..........however let us consider what that S- class is worth in 5 years versus the watch". My stepdad ofcourse knew that would be the answer but it goes to show you really how overpriced alot of these cars really are when you consider how quickly the majority of them lose value .

Exactly ... It's tough to wait on the latest and greatest but buying used just makes more sense.
