I heart the 355. Give me white with black interior and a six speed

I think the problem with the Z06 is that it looks too much like a joe shmoe Corvette and he is trying to avoid looking like everyone else.

I've seen better looking nobles than that one posted, I think there are some shots of one in the Crystal Cove meet. A guy on the mbworld forum owns it.

I think the maintenance on the Ferrari will kill you, will end up being more of a 100+ car when you factor that in. Viper like you stated before might be a decent option or the espirit. I don't see either very often at all.

Interesting-all the dealers around me don;t have any in stock, so I have not been able to sit in one. As soon as one comes in-I will jump in it and see if it is as comfortable as my C5 Z.

EXACTLY!! That is the one thing that I hated about my previous Z06, it was just a corvette to joe-schmoe on the street.

That is what I am afraid of on the Ferrari, so we will see what happens come next week.

Yup, the CLS is B-E-A-UTIFULL. I have been spending some time in the MB dealer latley, my father is picking up a CLK500, and I really like those cars. If I needed a four door saloon car, that would be it without a doubt.

Although, I seem to remember that they only came in auto correct? If so, scratch that-needs to be a stick.
Nope, that one is manual, as were 2 others I looked at on eBay.

A guy who lives near me has one of these, and I think he gets a thrill out of blasting past me in the s2k whenever he sees me. Seeing and hearing that thing fly by is pretty awesome though, its fast as shit.

Sold the Vette at the end of September.

Yeah, I have a serious problem with changing cars. Not including business cars, the S2k is the thrid car that I have bought this year.

Being a previous Vette owner I would still have to pick a C6 Z06, but a close second would be a Viper. I have always liked them from the very first one. I didn't like the new SRT-10's compared to the GTS at first , but once I got to see one in person, I was hooked on wanting one. Alot less maintance cost compared to a used Ferrari also, but still turns heads and has the power to outrun most anything on the road.

How about a BMW 645ci (or a 650i)? A neighbor has one and it is a beast. It's really throaty sounding...it sounds like a muscle car or a pickup truck each time it drives by...

*knock, knock*..."Land Shark"...

I would seriously consider the Esprit....but get one slightly used...the depreciate like a Mofo. The problem is you can get one that is built extremely well or one that is built not so well. From what I understand the last couple of years have been real good. My neighbor just got one. It looks mean as hell. It has an attitude about it, like a viper does. But, it is A LOT more exclusive.
That V8 sounds so purty....

I am already investing a much larger portion into a house. This $70k is what I have set aside to fill the garage with something pretty.

New Z06 would be my choice but it doesnt stick out much.

Viper would be a good choice if you want attention for that price.

I would go with a 911TT for myself though.

If I had $70K and oodles of money to spend like you do on discretionary things like cars I would just hold the money for 6 months, let it build to $100K and reaccess the scenario, I think there is a lot more you can get into in the century mark like Maserati, Panoz, higher end Porsches, etc rather than "settling" for a viper or espirit, when you don't seem to be overly enthusiastic about either.
