My week!
About this time last year I did a quick polish and coated with CQuartz UK. Due to driving the hell out of it this year, not taking care of the paint like I should have, problems with CarPro Reload streaking/staining, it was time to give the kitty some love.
First steps were to thoroughly wash and decontaminate the car. I used Chemical Guys Mr. Pink shampoo and followed it up with some CarPro Iron X. Once dried I pulled it in the garage, clayed it then masked off the trim and stripes.
Here's what the paint looked like after clay. These photos are from the hood, but the majority of the car looked just as bad or worse.
I used a combination of the Griots BOSS G21 polisher and a Porter Cable 7424 with 3" backing plate with the following pad/polish combination on both.
Griots BOSS Microfiber/Griots BOSS Fast Correcting Cream
Griots BOSS Orange Pad/Griots BOSS Correcting Cream
Griots BOSS Black Pad/Griots Perfecting Cream
To give you an idea of how bad it was, here you can see where I had gone over the rear quarter partially with the microfiber pad/fast correcting cream.
Three step correction done on top of front bumper. The clarity and darkness restored to the paint was amazing.
Day one: Hood and front bumper are polished.
Day two: Roof, trunk lid, and rear bumper polished
Day three: Sides are polished
Like a mirror!!!
Day four: Coated with Gyeon MOHS Q2 and followed up with Gyeon Booster.
Day five: Reveal day (I'll get some better pics soon)
Still need to do the wheels and calipers, but that will come soon!

It is not...
it's:
funny enough but every time I'm like okay that's it, taking my time on this one, gonna correct etc...I end up doing 2 sections correctly then running the orange pad and m105 all over the car calling it done.

LOL...
I mean, I'm exaggerating but really...I do get impatient...
I will say that the klasse all in one is a great product for the impatient bastard in you and your wife's car maybe.
If I go big horsepower I want what you have!
