What happened to "Brickyard" on the 350Z?

I've noticed the color "Brickyard" is no longer available for the 350Z on NissanUSA.com. However, on the touring version the color "Liquid Aluminium" is available. They take away a very unique, original color that was available on all models, and replaces it with ANOTHER SILVER, bringing the grand total up to three shades? And having that new color only available on one of the models?

Why do car companies do that? Brickyard was a great color, although very unpopular. I've only seen since the release of the 350Z. What do you guys think?

You answered your own question. Brickyard was unpopular, so the killed it. Not much sense offering something no one buys.

I like Brickyard, but I think Daytona blue (or whatever it is) or black looks better on the Z. Silver Z's are all over the place. I would never buy a silver Z (or BMW). Too many out there.

People like Silver. It hides dirt real well.

I'm personally not a big fan of Brickyard. It looks slightly purple to me which is my least favorite color. It didn't sell well so that's why they killed it. They will build what sells.

I personally would have liked another color other than another Silver available, but Silver sells very well, so that's why they made another.

I actually like that color. Silver Z's have become utterly boring to me... they are a dime a dozen around here. Black and white are still hot though.

Looks like a unique color too me. Kinda like the PDG on the 01 CL-S, you either love it or hate it.

Ya, Nissan offers that color on the Z and Murano. Both look like ass.

Silver helps hide those huge aluminum door handles. When I look at that car from a side profile that's all I can see. Especially on a blue or black model.
