What do you guys think about the Nissan Murano?
Went to the car show last week and was looking at the '05 Murano. This year they added a backup cam and the "intelligent key" where you just keep the remote in your pocket and start the car........heard a rumor that you can remote start too, not sure if that's true, but anyways, what do you guys think?

I was impressed with it when I test drove it. It handles almost like a sports sedan, has good midrange acceleration and the interior space is very impressive given it's apparent external styling. The only hangup I have is that it does kind of lag off the line but, it does get going.
Another negative: a fully loaded Murano can run you near the price of an RX330 .

If I owned the Murano I would be wishing everyday that I had bought the FX. Hate it but truly lovin the Infiniti FX! The styling of the Murano is just too bland.

Don't get me wrong, if someone bought me a Murano I'd drive the heck out it. And when it first came out I thought it was cute. Then I saw the FX, oh my god! I feel in love with it and kind of kicked the Murano to the curb like a bad habit. I guess just in comparison to the FX the Muran is bland looking.

Well, the Murano fully loaded with nav., dvd entertainment, leather, hid, bose, intelligent key, etc. etc. comes to $36k. The RX with no options is $36k, with navi., dvd, etc. comes to $47k. So it's more than a few bucks.

I tried to building it at carsdirect.com
I checked on everything on the AWD SL model and it came out to $38k. The RX with everything is $43k. The FX35 with everything is $44k, but it's the '04 model.

i hate nissan and infiniti (murano and fx) my fx had a leaky sunroof, gas tank not filling up, radio not working, headlights not working, interior lights not working...being bought back under lemon law tomorrow at 3:30PM!
Well, honestly, between the two Murano and FX, the FX IS superior in every way. It drives like a sporty car not an SUV. Pretty fun to drive. As much as I hate Nissan/Infiniti now, I still have to be honest and say if it wernt for the problems, it is a damn nice car.
