The newer Legacy Spec B is the one you want. EJ257 engine with the STI (they dropped the lower case i) six-speed. The tranny is stout, way better than the five speed in the regular GT, and worth the price of admission on its own.
One thing Subaru has been doing right is keeping their cars light! They are almost always lighter than comparable cars.
