What car to buy next?

Ok I have had my 03 CL-P for a mear year and am already getting tired of it. Actually I was tired of it after about 6 months. It's in great shape and everything works it just seems slow and out dated to me. So if you had a 20k budget what would you buy next? I want something similar to the CL: sporty but not a sports car. I have seriously looked at the 05-06 G35's but the interior is kinda cheap. It really didn't seem that much better than my CL either. Not for the price tag. I am kinda leaning toward an 05-06 TL. I would love to get a TL-S but that would blow my budget. Can anybody think of anything else? The rules are:
Import only
2005 or newer
20k max
under 60k miles

When you say not a sports car you mean sedan vs. coupe? G35 and TL are solid choices or IS250. WRX and Evo's interiors may not be up to your standards and handling may be a little too sporty for your taste.

If I had 20k to spend you can find a 2005 RL for $20,000 or you can find a nice 06 M35 for around $20,000 if you look hard enough.. I was also looking for a used car for about 20 grand back in october but my job (sales) took a big hit and my pay was pretty much cut in half so I put my dreams of a 05 RL on hold for awile

you're also looking at pricier insurance with those two cars tho.

dannyboy10 is right about the accord, but the Mazda is sportier looking and more fun to drive. For 20K, you could get low miles, leather, xenon, the works.

And it's cheap to insure.

Not true about M35x's in the NY/NJ area. Auction prices jumped 2,000+ dollars over the past 2 months on these cars.

New car dealers are showing up at these auctions and competing again used car dealers for these cars.

if you can find an M35 with good mileage for under 20k, then i'd definitely go with that.

otherwise, i'd buy a 3g TL.

Having driven both with 6MT, the AV6 is about as fun as the MS6.

Thanks guys. I am still leaning towards the 3g TL. It seems like the best car for the price.

I just upgraded from an RSX and I LOVE my 3G TL. One of the most aggressive looking 4 doors cars out there IMO and design, styling AND creature comforts keep up with the times.

GL on your decision.

How about a tractor, or a pony?

My thoughts exactly. Dude...test drive and talk to people you know to see what the next best ride would be for you. A lot is subjective because only YOU truly know what is important to you at this point. My biggest reason for upgrading is I wanted projectors! (well, that and the deal was amazing)

your budget is around $20k and you're whining about interior? And you want something faster than the CL-P? that's gonna be kinda tough IMO. Good luck

I'd get a 350Z, personally, the interior is nice, there is a good amount of performance and they are offered in both 6M/T and 5A/T transmissions. I've found quite a few for under $20,000. In fact, you can get a great deal on an 2003~2006 with low miles for around $16~17,000.
