Thanks for the tip, I'll keep it in mind.

The service guy told me that I can get it at Home Depot and that you basically put it on a towel, I don't know if it's a spray or not, and then you wipe it on whatever you are trying to remove. Then let it soak in and then simply wipe it off. I hope it's that easy

just found out that the company that took over the parts division of Comptech, they are CT Engineering, don't have any plans for making GS-R headers at the present time.

Comptech used to make them, but weren't making any money on them so when the new company took over, they decided to not carry them over.

Nice pickup. I was looking at getting something similar for a DD. Gas is killing me. I think we spend about $400 a month on gas now.

Oh, and on the compression numbers... They look good. You want the maximum and minimum to be within 10% of each other...

A lot of my friends keep telling me that we should just go for it and just have kids and work around it. I keep looking at them like this

Most of them haven't gone to grad school and worked full-time to understand that it's very hard to do. Not that it isn't possible, but waiting two years won't be bad and we're actually thinking about starting to try before I graduate so that when I'm done with school, my wife will be a few months pregnant already. At least that's what we're hoping for, when the time comes we'll do our best.

Congrats, I almost picked up that same one from Miramar. It's been on the market for awhile now. The guy had two of them and the other one was a 99 with leather interior whick sold the same day I went to go look at it. But hey congrats on the purchase. I had him down to 8k OTD with the one you picked up but I figured I'll wait till he picks up another one with leather.

There is alot of truth to what your friends are saying. Both my wife and I work F/T. We were both taking P/T grad classes before we had a first daughter 3 years ago. She stopped and I continued on. Right now, I'm writing the dissertation proposal and should be done by next May

She's prego with #2 and due in March. She'll probably be ready to go back and finish up her doc right when I'm getting done next May. There is no doubt that we're both mucho busy, but we still have plenty of time to play with the daughter and enjoy life. Did life change with a kid? Absolutely but you work around it. The benefits of kids far outweigh the negatives.

Before we had a first, I was grousing to my father about how we would not be able to afford a baby right then. His words....you just make do. If you wait until you think you're ready, you'd never do it. That is so very true...both in regards to time and money.

Good luck!

The Integra needed new tires.. so....

I'm gonna buy new tires, and need your help with some questions that are below.

This past weekend I had an altercation with a 5' long 4" x 4" on the road. To say the least, I'm really that people don't pay attention to the road and look out for obstacles ahead of them.

In any case, both left wheels on the teggy are bent, and they are replacing the front lower control arm to fix some alignment issues. Also, the front-left tire has a huge bubble. The tires were mismatched when I bought the car. I was planning on getting new wheel and tires later this year anyway and now I have no choice but to do it.

I can either...

1) buy a couple used oem wheels and buy new tires for all four wheels.

OR

2) buy a new set of aftermarket wheels and tires and lower it in the process

I'm leaning more towards option 2, because in the long run I would have bought new wheels anyway, may as well get the most for my money and do it now.

FYI - The stock wheels weigh in at around 16lbs/wheel.

I'm looking at getting a 17x7 +42 offset size wheels from the selection below. The Enkei's weigh 22lbs each; whereas, the DC-5 Tenzo's are 17.5lbs which IMO isn't bad for a 17" cast wheel. I don't know how much the Type-M wheel's weigh.

If I go with the Tenzo's I'm gonna have a hard time selecting a color because they have so many options available. I like the black, but I also think bronze on a white car is a good match.

Do any of you have any comments about the quality of Tenzo wheels? My car isn't tracked, it's just a daily driver. I don't drive it hard. I welcome all comments and suggestions/ideas.

Forgot to mention, the dealership gave me a BRAND NEW RDX for a loaner. It had only 141 miles on it when I drove it off the lot. I'm gonna try to take pics and a review if I have time.

i thought this was gonna be a crazy sellout-type: "the integra needed new tires, so...i got a mazda3 instead! "

but i'd go with option 2: tenzo charcoal gray.

I'm guessing since they are Mugen, they are very expensive. If I were spending a lot on rims I'd get some volks. I really like the Volk CE28, just can't afford em.

In any case, I did a search on google, they look similiar to the Tenzo DC5

I put over 1000 miles on a loaner in a week one time. Service manager was shocked when I told her.

Found a thread at another honda forum and they are bashing Tenzo on quality. I don't know much about Tenzo, so this is the kinda info I'm looking for.

http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread/2244390

Any of you feel like I should scrap the plan to go with Tenzo and just get the Enkei wheels? Enkei is a recognized brand as we all know and the factory wheels on my CL-S were made by Enkei.

I ride a vanpool to work so luckily i won't be putting on that many miles in one week.

Yeh. She asked me how I managed to put that many miles on it. I told her I was moving, it was a 120 mile round trip, the TSX had a bigger trunk and accessable back seat and the CL didn't.

She just laughed and said it served them right for ordering the wrong part for my CL.

I don't really like the style of the Enkei wheels, but if Tenzos are of poor quality, I wouldn't go with them either. Are there any others you were looking at?

I'd rock the bronze Type M. But if quality is an issue, go with Enkei.

There weren't other's I was looking at becuase this whole thing happened so quickly. I went through tirerack, discount tire, and a few other sources looking for some good looking wheels that aren't too expensive and that's how I found the ones you see in this post.

I'm open to suggestions as long as you are open to criticism if I like em or not.

if you're not comfortable with the tenzos, i'd just go with the OEM's. not really feeling those enkeis.

I'd like to stick to under/around $1300. I got an offer for those Enkei wheels for $1304 with a set of Yokohama S.drive tires installed, mounted/balanced, with a road hazard plan with all the necessary hardware for the rims (hub centric rings if they need them, lugs and stuff).

I'm hesitant to buy a set of used wheels because I don't know if they are bent as well and a set of new OEM wheels runs at least $350/wheel!

if you like the enkeis, then go with them and set of yokos.
