In an effort to balance out the Gloomy-Gus factor, I suppose that even if it was in an accident, if that's all the damage then it wasn't too bad...

I mean the rear of the taillight looks correct. It even has a GM stamp on it inside the hatch. Will have to see if the light output is anyless with one design compared to the other. So probably just some paintless sent removal should fix the two marks and might do nothing about the tails.

Just finished skimming through the navigation manual and realized it has surround sound and DVD-A so I won't lose that ability to play all my DVD-A discs I had for the F. If only it had a six disc changer. Now I am being picky.

So I had a crazy thought last night while looking at some old school cars and saw an old wagon done with these wheels. I thought maybe see what some retro looks likes on the Vagon.

I did this photochop on my phone so it isn't perfect but it came out much better looking than I expected.

My gf told me they are the ugliest wheels she has ever seen.

Interesting.. in the right color they would look legit, but also the right size. Sounds expensive.

Anything I would do would be 20 or 21s even based on the large wheel well on the V. I love matte gunmetal wheels and think they would work on the Vagon but I juat did that finish on the F so might try something different.

Wheels will take me forever. They took 1.5yrs to figure out for the F. They will
Have to be custom moat likely cause I want the absolute perfect stance fitment that is also very driveable.

Just did this on a wheel configurator.

These are two of my favorite wheels on a V I have seen so far so maybe I will wait a year or two and get a set of these.

I wish the carbon lip kit on the last one was a little bit thicker. It is exactly what I am looking to do on the wagon.

The car below was going to be my inspiration if I went with a black Vagon. I like the bronze on there b/c it's subtle... but still different.

http://www.cecwheels.com/images/Cars...2-IMG_6694.jpg

^^^I have looked at that car many times. It is beautiful.

After seeing this car I definitely need some coupe springs in my near future and some black chrome grills. Maybe even a box too down the road.

Yeah, I was all about the black grilles when I was looking at gray, black, white, or blue Vagons... but with the silver, I'm kind of changing my strategy. Not 100% yet but since I am leaning towards more of an Anthracite wheel I was thinking about doing the trim that color instead of black (except around the windows, that's getting blacked out)... so was thinking of dipping the grille in something anthracite...

I would think the black chrome grills would look perfect with the wheels you are considering. The black chrome isn't super dark if it is like the black chrome grill options for the IS-F.

It is scary and crazy but I think I have most of my plans for the Vagon already finished in my head. Now just need time and money to execute it. Then have to decide to a hoard up all the parts first and do it all at once or piece by piece.

^ Yeah, the black chrome would probably look good. I was originally looking to just to the black grilles, but those won't work for me. But black chrome can save me some time and headache by not having to plasti-dip anything .

Oh and I'm same as you... I pretty much have everything planned out... will just do it a bit at a time...

I like those wheels you posted above. I already have those pictures saved too as possible wheels. However, something about 1500 for a set of 20in wheels doesn't screen quality to me. I need something that can take abuse. I drive the he'll out of my cars mileage wise. I hate the price but part of me leans towards another set of custom forged wheels. You can't beat the stance from a custom fitment either.

^ Yeah, funny enough I think that chrome lip would look good on my car since it is silver. Also, several folks on the forum have them including one dude with a very powerful, high HP V Sedan... and from what I have read, everyone loves them...

Good deal. There is a set in the FS section with tires. They are only in TN too. Tempting. I like the chrome lip with the chrome grill trim.

So apparently the title was lost in the mail when sent by the bank to the previous owner. They are now faxing a lien release document to the bank to notarize and then mail to me. He says this and the bill of sale is all I will need to get a new title.

This has been such a headache I almost just want my money back at this point.

Yikes! Does the bank not send the title via priority or other traceable means? Hope it all settles for you soon...
