Incorrect.
Have fun, fellas: https://edmv.ncdot.gov/VehicleRegist...#term=Standard
If you click on "All Plates" right above the text box, you can see all of the custom plates available. I personally like the Shag Dancing one...you'll see why when you look at it I was going to get the watermelon plate and have "NOM" be the characters, but I bitched out.

Maybe that is my solution. Corsa for long trips and cutouts for around town.

Congrats J!! Been off since last Thursday so haven't been online, but had to check something and wanted to head over to see if you had pics. Good stuff!!

PS - Do you have the Corsa Touring or Corsa Sport? If you sell them I would be interested. BTW, from what I've read if you are looking for more noise the Stainless Works may be more up your alley (check neuronbob's YT feed).

I don't know why the QTP cutouts are pricey. The DMH seem to be the best solution since you can pretty much do it yourself (cutouts already fabbed to exhaust pipe, just sleeve / weld) and it's over $100 cheaper, but I heard the plate gets loose and rattles after x number of miles.

If you went cutouts.. maybe sell + trade for stock. You'd be on top of the game.

I like the corsa exhaust personally..
perfect balance, but J's F exhaust is exotic.. so I definitely understand.

This is one of the least expensive sites I found them on.. but not sure about cust service. Interestingly enough there are two version of the DMH cutouts. The more expensive low-profile ones are the ones people complained about.. so maybe not too bad of a deal on the regular fab'd ones. Plus 4 year warranty, not bad. Not sure about the warranty on the QTPs.

^ Yeah, I totally get it too and I'd probably be the same way as J. But the misses always complains how loud the FJ is on long trips (not annoying, but not the quietest truck ) so since the V will be the new cruiser, the Corsa is the perfect compromise to keep her happy and allow me to get something a bit louder than stock

I still have to get my gf to drive the V so I can drive behind. Maybe it just has so much sound deadening that I can't hear it from inside. I would like to but not at the cost of drone on long trips.

I honestly do really miss it. The F is still here so I am going to have to out the plates on it again and take it for a spin this weekend.
I am definitely going to miss everything about that car. Don't get me wrong though I love the Vagon they are in a way though two very different Cara I have found out. My love of dogs though caused the demise of the F for me.
Now I need to try and find an exhaust like that for the V. I wonder if Meistercraft makes anything.

My buddy buying the F said this is one of the reasons he loves it so much is that it is aa 5.0 V8 but it has some of the rumble by also a bit of the exotuc V8 sound.

According to the companies website they do make it for the Wagon. It also costs $2400 just for the axle back and $4000 if you want it header back.

Not worth it.. shiett. I'm sure you can do quite the hell of a custom job for $2400 alone, including headers. Robbery..

If it can get me that exotic exhaust sound the F has or similar I might play ball and do it. I want to hear my exhaust from in the car driving around town but then I want quiet and no drone while on long trips of highway cruising.

When you do the splitter on yours any chance you want to part ways with the stock plastic ones if they are in decent condition? I would be willing to buy them off you.

So finally had some time to give it a proper bath this morning. Not a full detail yet though. Did a wash a a full spray wax while drying to give it a nice slick finish. I love the BDT paint. I can't wait till the sun comes out so I can see it full clean in the sun.

I am unfortunately starting to wonder if this car was in an accident before after having washed it. More than just the paint on the bottom of the front bumper is peeling. I can see spider web cracks in the paint just below the upper grill. Also on the driver's side rear quarter panel right above where the bumper meets the quarter panel there are two spots that looks like bolts pushed out against the panel that you can see the pops in the sunlight. They don't show up on the passenger side. Also the LEDs in the backup light portion of the rear taillights are different on each side as if maybe one of the taillights is not the original one.

Best picture I can get showing the spots on the quarter panel.
Also the two different taillights. The rear wheel on that side also was repaired about 1/4 of the way around but you can't tell unless you are right up on it
