Well...the S2000 needed more doors, more driven wheels, and a lot more torque...

Nice collection, love the old W124 verts, a design that's aged pretty well.

I found a critical design flaw in the Golf. This is an absolute game changer that everyone who is considering one of these needs to know about. The problem is with this part of the car:
If you put your phone in there and launch the car, it goes flying into the back seat.
You've been warned.

Put the phone in sideways!!! And close the cover on the pocket!!

VW will call it a 'feature' since it prevents phone use while driving.

Phone doesn't fit sideways, phone too big/slot too small (giggity)! And if the door is closed I can't charge it. #firstworldproblems
Haha probably.

Lies!! Everyone knows a Solara can’t accelerate that fast

and agree, a Solara isn't fast enough to outrun a glacier let alone throw a phone back.

Yes, but then where will you put your triple venti soy milk double pressed half sweet caramel machiatto?!

Downgraded from a Golf R to a Golf S for the winter. Probably going to get a few more unsuspecting victims looking like this.

I definitely think you will catch some people sleeping on it looking like that.

Oh I'll definitely be getting different winter (and probably summer) wheels as soon as these tires wear out. I couldn't pass up just running the set of Blizzaks I already have that fit just fine and I got a steal on the wheels too (basically free) so it made sense to go as is.
Meh, I'm not a huge fan of tintz. Going to leave windows as is.

I must say though, driving on 2" small diameter snow tires is FAR more comfortable than 19" summer tires...

Golf 1.4T S to Golf R conversion is complete! Back to summer mode now. Now this thing just needs a good bath and it'll be ready to play hard.

Welp, the economy hatchback just past 10k miles last night. It was on a trip to get this:
2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with 18400 (yup, not a typo) miles. This came from a guy who bought this thing new to keep at his "vacation home" in Arizona and never drove it much. He brought it up here when he sold the place and continued to not drive it much. It's basically brand new, never been off road (lol, this will change), and even still smells new on the inside. Came with a 3" Mopar lift with Fox Racing remote reservoir shocks. Currently riding on 35" mud terrain tires which are getting swapped out ASAP for some BFG KO2's since the MT's ride and sound like a freight train.
Bonus Finn content.
I figured that my cars didn't really need different threads, I don't post enough mods and stuff to make it worthwhile.
