VIR 240. An inaugural event at America's Motorsports Resort.
Welcome to our weekend at Virginia International Raceway. Upon hearing ALMS was coming to VIR, it was inevitable we were going to go. Enjoy the photos!
Drove up thursday and got there around 4pm.
My brother and Matt were anxious for my arrival. When I got there they took me for a ride on the golf cart through the paddock to check out the cars.
Woke up friday morning. The grass is really green at VIR.
Yeah, you didn't see the fucking grasshopper hidden like a mother fucker did you? You were probably like why did he take a picture of grass. Start paying attention to details. There will be a lot to look at here. Slow down and take them all in. Stop scrolling so fast son.
There will be a lot moar photos posted. Be sure to return. (it's lunchtime)

My dumbass didn't take any photos of the kart track but we did race them and they're a lot of fun. If you ever go kart 55 is slow. Do not get in that one.
Crawled out of the tent and took some dew shots.
I love the Falken Porsche. Looks so sick.
Matt Hollister. Friend and aspiring race car driver. He's really quick. One of the fastest drivers I personally know.
Aaron Badis. Brother and aspiring professional drifter.
It was $50 to camp so i figured a photo of the sticker was neccessary.
LOVE the way it looks. oh my god.

Will I build this out of LEGO one day? It's possible.
Hawaiian Style. Shakah brah.
Never saw any bunnies.
Well well well. Ole employers 'R us. GMP, one of my previous employers was there with a nice booth.
The old bossman himself. Stephen. We ended up stumbling across them that night at the kart track. The guy on the right had claimed my kart number 35. I was dissapoint. Had to race in a slower kart, but it handled really well.
Matt asked the trooper what was the fastest he had clocked any of the cars. 165mph.
Luckily VA troopers have never pulled me before.
Dirt dust? No fucks given.
Return to base.
It was Dave's birthday.
We had a lot of fun on that golf cart. Aaron showed Matt how to 'tee' it up.
Safet 1 zombies. It really looked like zombies walking through the grass.
All of the pro fotogs were wearing Nikon vests. I forgot to take a photo of my canon buddy wearing it hehe.
Will be ordering some turqouise bricks and build this truck out of LEGO for sure.
What is the retail on that son of a bitch?!
..moar..

And good looking out. I just looked up where Emporia is located and rarely travel that part of 95, but if i'm ever headed through there..will do. VA law enforcement works harder than all of the other states i've driven through from what i've noticed.

Here is the van i used to drive around when i worked for them.
We gave him a thumbs up and he was nice enough to rev the motor. He lives across from my ex girlfriends house.
When i saw the 3g TL commercial it was one just like this. I was sold from the minute i laid eyes on it on the tv.
The grass is so green.
They're grinning because we blew past them with our 'tee'd up' golf cart..
My brother had just texted me "where are you guy's at?"

It's tough to photograph cars with people all around.
I'm gonna contact someone at sacchromepaint.net and see if they will paint wheels.

I wonder what colors Acura will offer the new nsx in.
Pink solo cups.
GMP employees.
Matt said it was the second fullest he has seen the infield at VIR behind an AMA event.
Yes I can see out of my little apr mirrors. They're convex.
Somehow i've never been pulled by NCSHP either.
David Do the Mayday Garage blogger guy.
Here is the new VIR record holder. 1:35.4
If you are approaching VIR from Roxboro you can expect to see these on the way..
I wonder how many TLs are in South America.
One last bonus batch on the way!!....hehe

Oh fuck.
In that passenger side shot of my TL...it looks like my ARC winglet is missing. I'm scared to go down to the garage and look.

Allright guys. Photos threads are better when they end on a happy note.
I forgot to give a donation. If they are at Petit LeMans i will.
Look at that smile!
She had a really nice stance when she was standing there.
See what i'm saying?!..It was crazy.
Girl in the white was watching those racecars hard!
Well guys that's a wrap for my coverage of this event. I feel like it was fairly thorough and you should have a pretty good idea of what went down. Next up is Petit LeMans at Road Atlanta.
