So I just bought a new car from NJ but I am a PA citizen. The dealer told me I won't be able to get my official license plate until I conduct a VIN inspection at a motor vehicle location and mail back to the dealer some form....is anyone here familiar with what must be done? I searched the web and couldn't find anything on this or where I must go to get this done....dealer aparantly has no idea where I can go to get this done either.

glad i live in a state that doesn't have gay VIN or smog check bullshit. you plunk down the amount for the tags(35 or 40 bucks a year) and get your little stupid sticker and you're done for the year.

It is for new/used cars you bought out of states. PA wants this done to keep record of the transition or something...I'm just as clueless.
