Valentine 1 (used), what should I pay?

Local guy has a V1 for sale used. I had him check the serial number, it has the latest software, etc. I see that they retain their value pretty well, dont want to low ball him. $300 a fair bid (too high, too low?) thnx

in all honesty, buy new. Esp. considering they just came out w/ a few updates recently and those alone will cost you $75-100 if you have a fairly newer unit. If you have one of the old bigger ones you are looking at $200 to upgrade.

Buy NEW!

N/m just read your post instead of looking at the price.

If you can get it for $300 do it, older units sell for more on ebay still.
