I am currently attending NTI, a branch of UTI and I haven't had any instructors that "bash" Honda, or any other brand for that matter. You will hear an occasional jab like, thats because its a Chevy, or something along those lines. As a matter of fact, the instructor of the course that I've had for the past 3 weeks worked as the head technician for a Honda/Acura specialty shop for 12 years or something like that.
Everyone is naturally going to be opinionated, and that goes for everything, not just cars...The courses are generally based off of General Motors, because thats what ASE is based off of..The instructors and people in general have had certain experiences that lead them to brand loyalty, and also experiences that may have led them to not liking certain manufacturers....Thats just the way it goes...
And like many others have said, just ignore the fool and move on...High school drama will always be high school drama and until you learn to ignore it, or separate yourself from it your not really going to grow away from it...Pick your battles wisely because some things just arent worth the frustration and aggravation.
And on a side note, you wont find a hairstyle like that at my campus...The school is very strict on professionalism and they will send you home if you come in like that.

Wow that isn't even a real JDM parking pole. Seriously he has to screw it off. The real things are automatic and completely contained in the bumper. They are motorized like a power antenna comes out of a car.
This is a real JDM Parking Pole what that kid has is an absolute joke.

And here I thought the summer was finally over

That actually looks kinda cool and useful, instead of something that looks like a mini CB antenna sticking out the side of his fender.

What's the point of this thread? You'll meet plenty of egomaniacs in your lifetime. He is compensating for his lack of friends; don't worry, be happy.... just please don't put a parking pole on your car.

pretty much this..... about the euro tuning. Can I get an lol?
Like the m3, in the US the e36 is speed trapped at 137, but the euro versions are speed trapped at an even higher speed. I tried to look up euro tuning, on google before posting on here, but to my understanding.... OK I have none, what is changed when tuning a car to euro specs + questions above.

Some cars are not that easy, though. With the E36 M3s that have a 3.2L, the Europeans got a 6-speed manual whilst I believe the US models stuck with the 5-speed.
In any case, if you're going to tune the car, see what you can really get instead of trying to get it like an European car. Not many people are going to know the difference anyway.
Thank you for an informative reply sir
So only certain companies (tuning shops?) can Euro tune?? Cuz owl boy said to
FIND A TUNER SHOP THAT WILL EURO TUNE IT BACK That made me think euro tuning can be done almost anywhere.
I'm still sorta lost with euro tuning, but am catching on and when they euro tune cars, what is done to the car?

Any shop with the knowledge & capability can tune a European car. Jotech here is mainly a GT-R tuner, but they have created their own 911 Turbo & Gallardo tunes.
What they do to tune the car is nearly the same as any other car being tuned. The only difference is they're trying to tune the car to be similar to European specs. And in most cases, it's pointless because many European sports cars in the US aren't that noticeably different from the European models, so there's no point in dropping cash to get a 10-20hp difference if there's more power to be gotten.
Mainly in the US with European cars, the popular thing to do is to make the cars look like models we didn't get here. For example, nobody is going to tune an E46 M3 to be similar to the European equivalent; the differences are minimal. However, many owners will try to make their M3s look like the CSL model that was never sold here just like NSX owners attempt to be recreate their cars into Type-Rs.
I can't add much more regarding the idiot in question that hasn't been said already. People like him will always exist & will unfortunately, miss out on learning about other automotive brands because of some silly "hate" towards it.

FYI Euro tuning goes hand in hand with a few companies and ask which he prefers. Just name some random brands IE say Mercedes and Dinan (but in reality Dinan is ONLY BMW)
European Car Tuners:
1. Hamann (multi brands)
2. AC Schnitzer (Multi Brands)
3. Dinan (bmw)
4. Carlsson (MB)
5. Brabus (MB)
6. Renntech (MB)
7. Novitec (multi brands)
8. Ruf (multi Brands)
just to name a few, just randomly ask him and you'll make him know that he's full of shit. For example I met some younger kid who was talking smack at a car show and he's like Oh yeah, my cousin who works in the army got me a HSV-GT10 motor from that car honda was testing. It's basically a military v12 that they use and it's coming from afghanistan since that's where they do desert testing.
Me-> Honda doesn't do V12's maybe a V10 at the most, and I don't think an automaker would test in a war zone when Germany is closer and as well the nevada deserts are right here in the US.
Kid-> uh, yeah, okay, sure, whatever... I'm sure once my car is built I'll beat any car in a street race...
Me-> Turns around and laughs along with my buddy

I don't know why you'd want to but observe teenies having a conversation at a mall. You'll see what I mean; make sure to wear dark glasses, a hoodie and a handle bar mustache for extra laughs.
Having young siblings (M/F), I am unfortunately exposed to their pointless ramblings which include a lot of side notes/comments which have little to do with the initial story.
